I am really interested to see what comes of that idea for a mobile all-in-one camp & cook setup! Sounds like a great idea the keep everything portable and contained.
Stock truck and overland trailer setup are giving me ideas for my future truck. I'm looking forward to the setup you have coming for the Tundra!
Haha, no theory there. I have a CVT Mt Washington, and live in Central Florida. The black 100% absorbs heat quite well. Summer camping is absolutely a no-go without shade and water. Which, makes solar energy collection difficult. This white colorway, while not asthetically as pleasing as black, is hella intriguing when it comes to that. I've actually thought about painting the top of the tent w cool cote to fight the heat. It's so bad...
Suuuuper interested in FSR storage solution for the fridge. It's a pain fighting the stuff in the fridge. Stacking stuff is *muah* chef's kiss. (BTW, you're looking for a Chuck box-type solution. There are more blueprints that I've seen, than actual production units. But, your network is quite a bit wider. I'll be interested in what you find out.)
I'm in middle GA and was thinking the same thing. It gets hot af here even in the shade.
I have the FSR EVO2 long on my Power Wagon. I have a roofnest 270 lightwing awning mounted on it with quick release mounts so I can move it under the tent if I get into tight situations and don't want branches hitting it. Any awning will sit out a bit with the EV2 but not too bad. I have mounted many extra awning mounts and ladder mounts to the tent to use for things like lights and bags. So far it has been a great setup.
This guy makes my day so much I really want to do camping just like this but I am young and don't really have a job and haven't really focused to much due to the situation I am in but I can enjoy watching every post he does and wish I can do that one day hopefully after I focus on getting to pipeline welding and build a cool out going rig just like he has with his Tacoma. He has helped me so much with my depression and helped view on life and the actual true meaning of it and u slowly quit smoking been a year free of smoking and I recently picked up on snus and dip but I wanna slowly quit that aswell but thank you so much for the content that you produce really means a lot to me and has opened my mind more than anything on the value of what life truly means. Thank you! 17:16 17:18 17:19
That means a lot man, thanks so much for watching and sharing 🙏🏼
For my kitchen setup I use some Eagle CLaw Jet Sleds with their canvas covers. In the back of my Power Wagon I can fit 2 of the large sleds on the bottom and have a upper layer setup that holds 3 of the smaller Jet sleds. Gives me lots of storage and I can easily grab one Jet sled with my Kitchen and move it to another vehicle and know I have everything. Jet Sleds were made to drag wild game out and the slide easy on a rubber bed mat. Very simple to anchor down also. Tell FSR they need to include a canvas bag for the ladder.
Awesome video thanks for sharing
Very nice. Yup !
I can relate to being a weekend worrier. Love to have a trailer similar to the one you show here.👍
Excited to follow this build! It was great talking with you at r4t event last week about what all is coming up this year!
Good talking to you again man! I’m sure I’ll see you around Colorado soon 🤘🏼
@@TalonSei Absolutely! 🤘🏼😃
Just saw something on IG for Craft Autoworks’ portable kitchen setup.. like they were listening. Looks worth checking out
Love your set up man! Let’s see what that truck can do with an upgraded trailer! We’d love to work with y’all! - Jordan Brady - CEO LOBO ADVENTURE TRAILERS
That's such a bad ass trailer
Talon I like the trailer setup, I'm running a Highlander 1st gen I think it would be great to attach a trailer and take off on the weekends. Thanks for giving me some 💡 for my future plans. As always another cinematic masterpiece 🤌
Thanks for watching man! If you go the trailer route I think it would be pretty easy to build one yourself too if you have the creativity and time 👍🏼
I love the idea of a tent setup like this; but I have been thinking lately, does it being higher make the wind hit harder? It looks durable enough, just wonder about getting blown around and being loud.
@blackstone grills just came out with two portable grills one has a griddle and burner and the other one is just a griddle and it’s like suitcase style
Talon an all-in-one camp cookset would end up being a customized craftsman tool chest with doors for outdoors men. Thats what I would use. ❤ your work. 👌P.S. checked out your other channel, Any updates on that?
Sick trailer. Any idea if FSR will be selling the heated blanket? Thanks!
Need to find this camp site!! 😂
Trailers rock. I think my last comment got rejected bc of a link which I apologize if that’s uncouth. Overland trailers are the best thing for the weekend warrior! Mine is loaded and ready to go (minus food) for quick weekend trips. Keep up the great work Talon!
Thanks man! Sorry about the comment, UA-cam holds comments with links in them for review because of scammers.
Nice
Very informative video, even with the food p*rn. lol Thanks for sharing.
I think it's so weird that they went out, fully set everything up, and then left at night. I get that they could have had plans in the morning or something, but I still would have stayed the night and just left early.
What was that new vacuum? That looked slick
Legit came back to the comments 8 hrs later to see if he disclosed yet 😂😂

Any info on that vacuum pump?
If I didn't live in an HOA that is anti-fun, as most are, I would totally consider a trailer like this.
what was the usb heater blanket? great video
FSR from the previous camp vid 🤘🏼

What are your thoughts on those Michelin LTX Trails that come on the SR5 TRD Off Road? I have a little over 2K on mine so far, done some light off roading/camping, but the jury is still out.
From what I’ve read they are not great. From what I’ve experienced, definitely not great in the snow but not terrible everywhere else
@@TalonSei thanks for the reply! Yeah, that's kind of how I feel. I wish they would offer a better tire with the Off Road package. C'mon, Toyota!
Is that Sherpa blanket a FSR or a different brand. I see the anywhere poncho/blanket, but not the top Sherpa one.
FSR. They will be on the site soon
@@TalonSei sweet, I need one of those bad boys. Thanks for the super fast response. Love the vids!
What’s the air mattress pump you’re using in the video?
Got it from Freespirit. They just did a video of it on their owners FB group
I was just at that exact site on Friday. Stopped there for lunch.
Can someone explain the rack tent set up to me? I don’t understand why you’d want a tonneau, a rack, and a tent instead of just a topper or camper like a super pacific or gfc. Without a topper you lose secure storage and your stuff gets all dusty.
Have you looked at LOBO adventure trailers ?
No this is really the only camp trailer I have ever tried out.
@@TalonSei That’s cool they have some cool stuff over there !!! Similar set up but more features
@@TalonSei awesome I love the new truck ! Congrats !!
Komodo kitchen
To be honest, the look of the trailer and FSR tent doesn't line up with your other rigs. The Storyteller, Kimbo, and the Supra are so cool. The design of the FSR tent will be better on a 4runner, it looks not good on a truck, in my opinion.
Well that’s the thing, it’s not supposed to line up with everything else. It’s a different option to try out when I need some more versatility. Would I personally use it more than my van, kimbo, or tent? Nah. But at the end of the day there are a lot of people who could benefit from a set up like this so it’s cool to show what’s possible 🤷🏼♂️
The best kitchen I’ve seen that could be adapted would be like what Chad (Living the Van Life) has done. Seems like it could be made to be easy to put in and out in a pickup bed.
Talon if I could make one suggestion . I have one of your Aspen light RTT . If you could get them to make the entire tent out of the tri layer ,it would make the tent a 10 out of 10. I find that when cold weather camping the tri layer parts are warm and dry . But the corners and little parts that are not get cold and wet , like running water . I for one would be happy to have a little more weight and cost for this big upgrade . Thank you . Maybe they could make a kit that would cover these areas ,making it a true 4 season tent . Sign me up for one .
You might want the Aspen (not aspen lite) as your next tent 🤌🏼
Hahaha, love the drinking comment.
It’s asked a lot so I figured I would give an hard honest answer 😂
