LOVING YOUR SHADOWS

I see so often how those dark corners of our personalities and our past block us from stepping into full expression.
We want to hide those shadow-sides away and only show the polished and bright bits of ourselves.
But it is our shadows that make us dynamic and beautiful...and they are what allow us to deeply connect with other beautifully-shadowy humans.
It's only once we own and acknowledge our shadows that we can use them for good. Unseen, they will continue controlling us from the darkness.

Originally from Louisiana, I’m grateful to have lived in a number lovely places around the world before landing in Switzerland. After nearly ten years as an Interior Architect and Workplace Design Strategist, I realised that I was being drawn to spend more time with the people and less time with creating the physical spaces. In 2012, my curiosity sparked a journey of self-exploration that led to the founding of Inner Architecture - the playfully serious work of creating internal stability for external ease through mindset and inner-dialogue work.
I started creating these Inner Architecture Mini videos to document the learnings from my own experiences and learnings as I navigate and uncover new territory within the human mind. Every story I was sharing with clients seemed to bring some spark of insight, so I share them with the vision that these stories might inspire you. I’m incredibly grateful to do the work that I love every day, and I’m grateful to you for taking the time to connect and share in the learnings.
