  • The willingness to risk looking foolish and failing is
NOTHING in comparison to the frustration of an un-lived life.
Back up your words with intention and meaningful action.
Watch the world open up to you.
And watch yourself open up into a version of yourself that you never imagined possible.

    | ABOUT REBECCA & INNER ARCHITECTURE |
Originally from Louisiana, I’m grateful to have lived in a number lovely places around the world before landing in Switzerland. After nearly ten years as an Interior Architect and Workplace Design Strategist, I realised that I was being drawn to spend more time with the people and less time with creating the physical spaces. In 2012, my curiosity sparked a journey of self-exploration that led to the founding of Inner Architecture - the playfully serious work of creating internal stability for external ease through mindset and inner-dialogue work.
I started creating these Inner Architecture Mini videos to document the learnings from my own experiences and learnings as I navigate and uncover new territory within the human mind. Every story I was sharing with clients seemed to bring some spark of insight, so I share them with the vision that these stories might inspire you. I’m incredibly grateful to do the work that I love every day, and I’m grateful to you for taking the time to connect and share in the learnings.

I’m so glad it resonates with you, too. That’s exactly it, right? We can’t move forward with only our words…

That’s also what I say to my friends when we’re about to take a calculated risk… this is either going to be a great success or a great story😆

Good luck ♥, I know exactly what you mean. Its also important to know the difference between when one actually wants something but doesnt wanna act because of the fear to look foolish and when one thinks I want that but deep down we don't, we are just seeking validation from the world to tell us we are successful.

It’s a really good point, and often it takes me slowing down a bit to ask if this is some thing that I really want (or want to create), or if I’m doing it, simply for validation from the outside world, like you say. This is just a point of living, right? Sometimes we do things for validation, and we realize it afterwards. Also fine.
This is more about not getting too lost in our heads.

This is one of the best videos I saw this week. Storing ideas and not acting on them thinking it's never the right time is something I get stuck up at these days. And yes, something did spark and I am going to act without much more thoughts on at least few things, right away. :D

I’m so glad it sparked something in you to move on some existing ideas. Most often the “perfect time“ to take action on something you decide you want is in the moment when you have the most energy and excitement for it…and the second best time is NOW ;)

@@inner-architecture I can't agree more!! I am have already began working on something I have been meaning to find the perfect time for in the past few months. Realized now is the best time. I am gonna comment back here if I achieve this mini goal of mine because this video solely inspired me. :D

This video should be the sparkling point of responsibility and communication.
You should not have fear of miscommunication!
The only fear should be that you let the time go by and don't start.
*Start immediately* and I wish you a good take-off.

I don’t say act without thinking. ;) what I see is that words without actions don’t mean much if we want to create something in life. Would you agree?

What do you mean, George? I want to be sure I understand when you say “men are responsible for these things.”

An interesting comment by George! Could it be that there is a certain cultural background minting the statement that "men are responsible for this"?
