Rain Water Leak Repairs | BMW 1

💧 Sometimes you never know where you will find a leak. And it can be hard to tell if your repair has actually worked.
This car came to us with water in the boot, and it was a bit of a mystery as to where it was coming from. The car had had a leak before which had been repaired, but the car was a bit damp. Did was the water there from the last leak, was it still leaking, or had it developed new leaks?
It was a bit of a combination. We don't think the car had dried out from the last time it had leaked, and the driver's passenger side floor was still wet underneath the carpets. It is important to get this dried, as condensation can get into your electrics and cause a host of problems.
We found a leaking rear light, possibly as a result of a crash repair. We also found one of the door membranes to be leaking.

Thanks - I suffered same issues - my mechanic just changed the rear vents , but water is still building up .
I bought 2nd hand and the rear bumper was slightly damaged / scuffed - I didn’t make much of it - well that thought clearly has changed !
Not entirely happy my mechanic didn’t resolve the issue - was charged $400

Leaking in my front and rear wells passenger side will check vapour barrier failing this i will book it in with you since we spoke on the phone

How much would this cost? I have a f30 320d and might have same issue due to my rear drivers side floor is wet and looks to be coming from bottom door. Many thanks

@@surgedidit yep, ive invested in a Pingi dehyumidifyer bag £8 and its totally worth it, less mould and less cleaning, found rust under my driver and passenger seat so ive begun cleaning that ect, checked my seals and found my passenger ones split and my drains are blocked in the engine bag allowing water to stay there and cause these issues.
