- Hello Crafters! I know we can all get distracted by summer fun but now is a good time to start getting our plans & inventory started for our Holiday Shows & on-line Holiday selling! In today's video I am sharing my favorite vintage assemblage ideas using simple wood blocks as a base.

A little about me…
I live at the Jersey Shore & have a crafting studio tucked inside my 1923 Tudor home. I have always been a #grannychic #cottagecore kind of girl, collecting & decorating with all my vintage finds from flea markets, estate sales & thrifting. Just a vintage soul.
I have been crafting since the 1980’s & have never stopped. I’ve done countless craft shows & loved it when I found etsy in 2008. I reinvented my on line presence in 2018 to freshen things up because I am always evolving & always hunting for vintage!
I like to keep the vintage vibe going when I am crafting, from Vintage assemblages to holiday projects. Crafting for the holidays is my favorite & my video tutorials will always feature holiday ornament projects & seasonal themes.

So Tami, it looks like I opened a can of worms. EVERYONE Loves Christmas !!!! I check this site at least 2-3 times a day and was getting ready to go to bed when I thought I would check it one more time and I am So Glad I did ! I am SO HAPPY I have found your crafting channel. These little projects remind me of the first issues Mary Engelbreit used to release. I was working as a bookseller at the time and was thrilled when a new issue came to the store. Then she changed the content to more home room design and it was not such fun anymore. Still going through your past videos. They're wonderful!

Hello Tammy, I am so glad I discovered you..you are my favorite crafter! We like the same things, but I needed you to pull it altogether. My favorite assemblages are the Christmas ones, and also the no occasion oňes, but I love them all, except I don't celebrate Halloween at all, but would like autumn ones ..I had some ideas for other assemblages you may have made before, but if not. your take on these would be very creative, I am sure ... vintage or new wooden spoon wall hinging assemblages for Christmas and other seasons,and even the country doll on a wooden spoon..... and vintage tea cup assemblages , and vintage baby shoe assemblages. Keep up the fabulous work!

Thank you. I think all the ideas were something fresh and different. My favorite would be the vintage baby shoes. I think mugs might be good too, and I even saw assemblages on top of those large oblong balls of crochet thread.
I like the cardboard lids assemblages you did.I also like shiny brite box assemblages and wood blocks. The shiny brite ornaments are neat too.

I forget if my interlocking letter stamps are small or medium, but I bought lowercase, uppercase AND the stamps with the periods, exclamation points, quotation marks etc...(the name is alluding me-just GONE FROM MY BRAIN, and I've been sitting here waiting for it to come to me for a while now 🤪), as a set on Amazon via your link at a reduced price for all 3! 👍

Hi Tami! I wondered if there is a good drill on Amazon you could link or recommend for our smallish assemblages and projects. I’d also like to get more into seashell projects (and drill some holes) for the summer with my grandsons. This is another great video and Christmas project! Can’t be too early for me! I always love a Christmas in July crafting time, and today and “everyday’s a holiday” has been my motto for forever! 💕Love you! Hi Christi, that is a great question & sometimes I have to base it on how much the vintage pieces cost me or if I am using an extra special vintage piece. In general if I was selling this little deer assemblage at a show I would price it in the $12-$15 range. Thank you for watching!
