Your home is beautiful and so cozy! It brings back childhood memories of cozy and warm family Christmases. You don't see homes decorated like this much anymore and its a shame! This is how more homes should look and feel! It's inviting and timeless; not cold and sterile. You can feel the memories being made through the computer screen. You are very talented. I loved everything especially the nostalgia!

Kristen, I remember when you were staying with your relatives, waiting for your house, I felt so bad for you. I don't like change either, but God knows our heart's and I truly think you didn't get the other house because the one you have now was meant for you and your beautiful family. Your home is lovely and inspiring...but your honesty is the real attraction. Thanking the Lord for all His mercies no matter what we have or where we go because we have Him, Immanuel"God with us". I have known this personally while going through my husband's recent heart attack and cancer journey. He,the Lord, is with us not matter what season in life we find ourselves. God be with you and your very sweet little family! My three little girls have all grown up and become women with their own homes! How I miss those days with them all home pattering around and getting into everything! I do not forget the challenges of that season as well! as my grandson kindly reminds me when he is here for the day!~xoxox

Your home needs to be in a magazine! Warm, inviting, cozy, nostalgic, peaceful...... I love the red throughout (I have to have red for Christmas!) The greenery is gorgeous, too. What a huge amount of work. You have such an eye for decorating! And the baby is adorable!!!

When I was 16 a neighbor,who I babysat for during my high school years, gave me a book. Beautiful Homemaking. I have it still and it was my ambition then and now to make our house a Christian home where I could raise our children and teach them about Gods love. Our son became a Pastor, our daughter, a Christian Artist and now I have 5 wonderful grandchildren. Love your humility, your style. Your beauty shines bright. You chose well.

Kristen, I wanted to rejoice with you and hopefully encourage you as well. I stopped on your video because I thought your home was gorgeous. I was not expecting to hear your story nor to be totally rocked by the Holy Spirit when you shared it. I came across your video last week as we stumbled across a home that was not listed for sale to the public, but being offered to us quietly. The homeowner wanted to give us a chance to make an offer before listing her home since her house is directly adjacent to my wonderful in-laws. The blessing of being next to my son’s grandparents was so exciting & we had been in prayer for this house. So your story instantly caught my attention! As your video went on there several things that made it abundantly clear that God was speaking directly to me through your journey. The color of your door, pictures you have in your home, specific Christmas decor that all matches my past, present & wishes for the future almost eerily exact. I’m watching your video again today as we just learned that the home we placed all our dreams and prayers into is not affordable to us. This alone was devastating, but we have also learned that we currently cannot afford anything on the market. Another blow. To shed some light on our story, we are in a one bedroom apartment with a toddler and desperate to find space to call home. I wanted to scream at the tv and tell you, “Us! We are the reason you went through this journey and rollercoaster of emotions to find your landing place. You went through it just so we could hear it and have hope in our own situation. So we could be encouraged when we feel like there is no future for our own family. It’s for us!” So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing your story. Thank you for letting the Lord use you to minister to us. And we rejoice with you over your beautiful home, which you decorate the way I love to think about Christmas-warm, homey and inviting-it’s stunning! So excited for your family to build the first of many wonderful Christmas memories there this year!
