    I took a course on keying this year and have successfully applied all the skills and knowledge I gained in practice on various projects. Andrew provides very high-quality feedback and answers absolutely all questions, which gives a deeper understanding of keying and compositing. The learning materials are excellent, and completing each training shot allows me to learn many practical nuances. It was truly an amazing experience, and I am very grateful to Andrew for the training.

    I was on the 48frames course on keying, and I just want to say a huge, sincere thank you to Andrey for what he does! 🙏💜I discovered Nuke for the first time on his courses, and thanks to what he taught me, I've been working as a composer for 7 years now. The level of quality requirements that Andrey initially sets is very helpful in my work and employment later on. And in general, in addition to technical skills, he taught me the right attitude to work, which also plays a huge role. So I couldn't even think that the course I once took would really change my whole life like this! The most important thing is to study hard on the course, complete all assignments on time, and after completing the course, immediately start working, without putting it off for later.

    My start into the cg industry happened thanks to this course!❤
    Andrey teaches how a professional compositing artist should think and in what order to progress. And by the end of the course I could already solve keying problems on my own. This is a great result, which I couldn’t achieve for a long time just by watching tutorials on UA-cam

    Well, this is by far most valuable course you can get. How Andrew approach to each student - that's just magic. You just can't walk thru this course and not understand it. Andrew always help you and with patience and respect will guide you through even the darkest corners of keying. I started this course in a first half of 2024, and by the middle of the year i could do most of the keying task i get. By the end of the year i get my first project where the whole keying tusk's was on me. And guess what - i easily nailed it. Because this course give me all knowledge i need, Andrew teach me not only technics i should use, but also teach me how to think like a pro composer. So if you are in doubt about taking this course or not - put aside all doubts. Take this course and become a master of keying!

    I want to share my experience about this keying course with Andrey, and it was amazing! He explains everything in a super clear way, step by step, and is always open to questions - not just about keying, but compositing too. For the first time, I really understood how keying works and stopped being intimidated by the scripts. If you're thinking about learning keying or improving your skills, this course is exactly what you need. Big thanks to Andrey - I’m so happy I decided to take this course!

    The keying course is the second course I've taken with Andrey. Everything other students say about the course is absolutely true: learning is engaging, and it's genuinely possible to find a job in cleanup and keying, or even land a position at a studio. However, what impressed me the most during the course was the time and quality of the feedback. The review sessions only ended when there were no more questions from the students and Andrey had covered all the planned material. At times, it felt like he forgot there was life outside of compositing. But this isn't absent-mindedness-it's professionalism and dedication. If you're looking for compositing courses, this is undoubtedly the best choice.

    A few years ago I took a series of courses with Andrew. I can definitely say that you won’t find a better Nuke teacher anywhere. Even Rebelway will not give you such dense and sophisticated work with a student as this guy. Cool tasks, extraordinary executions, examples of implementations of other students and communication in the study group - this is what will give a good boost to your knowledge in the field of Keying and Compositing in general. You won't regret it. (Warning: Taking Andrew's first course may make you hungry for constant learning and learning new skills on an ongoing basis. This guy has a lot to offer you :))

    I took Andrey’s courses in 2021, and I can confidently say that I haven’t come across anything more logical and structured online throughout my professional journey. A huge advantage of these courses is the unique teaching approach, which places you in the role of a studio employee right from the early stages, while Andrey acts as a supervisor. He reviews your work, explains mistakes to each student, and provides valuable advice. By the way, I’ve never seen a course where the instructor checks the students’ scripts, and that’s a huge plus. Studios greatly value professionals who can logically structure their working scripts. Now, I’m already at a senior position, and I achieved this thanks to the foundational knowledge Andrey instills in his students from the very beginning. If you’re genuinely passionate about learning compositing and want to excel at your job while tackling exciting tasks, I highly recommend these courses.

      Yeah, it could be a start point. But to master this skill you need to make a lot of personal practice. It's like to ride a bicycle: you can watch a ton of good lessons, but without your own work you won't get a result. And if you want to do it in a short and effective way, you need a guided practice =)

    I took Andrey's practical course on Keying, it's worth signing up for at least to ask questions in person. I took this practical course this year, and I regret that I was embarrassed to ask my stupid questions, otherwise I would have learned even more useful information

    Hello everyone! I want to share my experience with taking keying courses with Andrey.
    I gained a lot of valuable experience thanks to his personal feedback, as we analyzed the mistakes in my shot step by step. This helped me understand and master the tools for high-quality shot keying.
    Before this, I watched a lot of UA-cam tutorials, but they didn’t help. However, after the course, I started completing tasks much faster and with higher quality.

      Appreciate for your note! That is true. And a trainer can reduce this pain with optimised and balanced practice. When I learned how to comp I went through quite a taugh path where I had no one to ask questions for better understanding. I'm trying to count this experience in my courses. It doesn't mean I give all answer right away (it would be useless for the learning process) but I construct a situations where student can face a problem, try to solve it individualy and then (only if he reach his limit) ask for a help. It's like in the gym when you spot only for last few reps =)
      But overall yes, most of the time without practice, without hard work it's almost impossible to reach valuable result.

    Would be great if someone from vfx industry brings up a course something similar for fusion studio!

    • @48frames
      @48frames  День тому +1

      Based on what I know, big post productions for movies, TV series and commercials mainly use NUKE as a comp tool. It would be great to have the same courses but for Fusion but there may be two problems:
      1. Good trainer (that isn't a big problem. I believe we can find them)
      2. Effective demand. Without it any trainer can't make a course for a long period of time

      @48frames Hi! It would be a great opportunity for someone like me, who works on very low-budget projects, like small local stories, with a budget below $1000. I understand that all work and all knowledge must be paid for, but due to sanctions and other restrictions, such as UA-cam blocking, the low exchange rate of the national currency and small income, it is only possible to pay the current price by selling the own kidney. The subscription model would be a great idea!

    • @48frames
      @48frames  День тому +1

      The thing is. This may sound strange, but theory and practice materials are not hugely valuable in terms of the learning process. I can download tons of them and still not be able to comp a single shot. The most important thing is practice. Without it, everything is meaningless. That's why my courses are dedicated to it, and I have no problem eventually sharing my knowledge and practice materials with everyone. My students do not pay for theory and practical materials, but for their practice and my perconolized feedback. But to be able to share it I need some recources to do that. That is why I do this course =)
