This video deserves way more recognition! The quality of information and guidance you provide is better than many paid courses. Can't wait to see what you upload next!
Looks like youtube doesn't need that. I can keep doing the same quality but it will smow me down. My main goal right now -- to be able to do my own practice materials. For that I need some resources I can gain with my courses. Looks like one video in one month won't help me to get full group for a course =) At least for now I need to switch to much more simple and more technical videos. I can return to this quality only when I will have a bit bigger audience.
I counted 5 Tylers. Well, this is the funniest video about pixels, considering that in daily work such shots cause opposite emotions. Great job! Thanks for the attached .nk file, it will be very useful for studying
Screw that Nuke, will do fun videos! Joking :) You know I have much more scripts in my pocket to share. All in good time. Nice guess about Tylers by the way :)
You can remove STmap1 and Expression1 and see that the result will be preatty much the same. But. The quality of the image will be worse. That's because of a concatenation break. LensDistortion + 3D + LensDistiortion. Each step we break the image a bit. But if we apply these transforms to a pixels position map and feed it to STmap, we will have only one "filter kick". To do it, you need to create the pixels position map (Expression1), apply all you transforms there and connect this transformed image to the stmap input in STmap1 (aslo change "uv channels" parameter in STmap1 to "rgb"). learn.foundry.com/nuke/content/comp_environment/transforming_elements/filtering_algorithm_2d.html learn.foundry.com/nuke/content/comp_environment/transforming_elements/node_concatenation.html learn.foundry.com/nuke/content/reference_guide/transform_nodes/stmap.html
Sir i saw the script i have a one doubt, in despil after form node you added a grade node in that grade node you tiwek the value of Whitepoint and gain which area do you select in grade node? , can you explain about that method
Each time I can check different areas. Overall if I see the difference in the core between "after despill" and "before despill" I try to match an image to "before". With disabled Grade I pick whitepoint inside the code after Merge (plus) and pick gain inside the core before despill. Then I enable this Grade. If I need I can additionaly tweak myltiply. The main logic is. We need to remove spill color but save overall feeling of env light. Without this Grade the image may look nutral.
Sure. All reflections should be added with plus operation (Merge (plus)). Take the original bg and grade it down with Multiply lower 1. So reflection should be darker than original bg. The amount of darkening (I think) will be based on glass characteristic. It always better to use reference to CC reflection. Lastly, this reflection should be bended to match a glass. Any methods to replicate this cureature can be useful if they give a decent result
Happy new year! EdgeExtend is a default node in Nuke. learn.foundry.com/nuke/content/comp_environment/filters/edge_extend.html I prefer uncheck “premult” and leave “detail amount” with 0
It won't give you complete understating of when to take specific actions. It wil be "I solved this specific shot this specific way". To be better in keying comper has to learn how to work with image and solve problems based on this image, not "learn keying".
sir i also want to ask more questions 1)- does this technique edge extend method works on soft hairs also ? 2)- sometimes we have lots of holes in soft hair how fo tacal that shorts?
That's the thing. This algorythm is just a guide not a dirrection instruction. EdgeExtend can be used only if you see a good result. If not, you need to find another solution. Maybe divide original image with clenplate and multiply with new BG. That's why it is mach more important not to learn techniques but undertandt the basics and know what we can do with a digital image.
@48frames Thanks for advance sir 🙏 , and also thanks for sharing script some one form big industry sharing workflow it is much helpful for students, i wanted to buy your course but it is to much expensive in Indian currency but thanks for advice
@@HarshShinde-o6n Thanks for your feedback! Hope eventually you'll have an opportunity to join the course =) Without any support Im not sure I can run this channel for free. But I'll try to do my best!
Well, it would be way more useful if the artist expressed himself less and shared more knowledge with the audience. There is enough time to demonstrate the key mechanics of keying and the chosen approach here. Sharing the .nk is great but not enough because there is no clue why you picked that way there. Even if you make it longer than it is, no one's gonna complain assuming that your main goal was to share your specific experience rather than let everyone know about your courses.
Soooo... How many times? =)

Thank you, Andrew! The video is excellent. I am eagerly anticipating the start of the RDS-1 course.
a few days before the start of registration =)
Few people know, but this is Nuke's father

OMG THNX for the video, I almost broke my head doing similar work before
Hope my script will be helpful =)

informative video even for a beginner, there is plenty to learn, and the editing is kinda great too. i only counted four tyler's
Thanks! Im planning to do more, but this has to pay off. Otherwise... Hope there won't be "otherwise" =)
4 - is a good guess ;-)
This is super useful. Thank you very much!
Thanks for your support
Hello! Can you explain about ST map on your background? How works that stabilization in that way?

Sir what if we wanted to add realistic reflection on windshield
Which method should we use?
Can you give me some notes to add realistic and

Hey
Happy new year 🎉
Can you please share the tool "edge extend " ?

Тоже есть. Но он почему-то иногда не работает. Предыдущая версия проявляется себя стабильнее.
