I have wanted to make my own ceramic palette for nearly 2 years now 😂 I don’t have access to a kiln tho. You just showed me something that fired off a bunch of serotonin.
I love this!! 😍Especially given the cost of palettes. 😳 A nice addition would be some little divers at the edge for resting paintbrushes on. This is so awesome I'm going to check out your other videos. 😊
Wonderful!! Would love to see more beginner projects for us newbies. Would also be interested in viewing your setup! Hope to see an abundance of new videos this year ❤
I love how she used the paper pattern, because I'm not much on the really rough looking ones that look like a child made it. (Which is fine, just not to my taste)
I just found your account and I’m in love with your work 🥺 I’m new to ceramics and I was wondering: after glazing the palette you need to use a proper oven in order to let everything dry am I right? Or is it something you can do with basic tools as well? 🥺
Yes ceramics need to go in the oven twice. First it becomes what we call ‘bisque’ so you can glaze it and the second firing is to harden the glaze. This cannot be done in a regular oven but in a kiln at 1200 degrees

I've been making "ceramic" palettes with air dry clay! They're usable after a couple coats of outdoor gloss!
Doesn’t the last layer still require a kiln?
Excellent!! been looking for a perfect paint pallet, now I can make my own. 👍🏻

Hi! for this type of clay and glaze you need a high temperature kiln, but some workshops offer firing service!
What paint are you using
you put the palette in too the owen???
Which clay are you using?
hey I might have a dumb question by do you need to put them in the oven or you can just let them out for them to be "hard"?
Yes ceramics need to go in the oven twice. First it becomes what we call ‘bisque’ so you can glaze it and the second firing is to harden the glaze. This cannot be done in a regular oven but in a kiln at 1200 degrees
Do you glaze the entire piece? If so, how do you prevent it from sticking to the kiln?
What is last layer? What name this material?
why did you stop making these videos??
Ok…..are these for sale?!?!!!
Hi, I have a question! Why you put Two wooden sticks around the ceramic؟
Para que al estirar quede del mismo grosor toda la cerámica.

I will! Thank you very much for your support!
does it have to be fired after the glazing?
Hi, yes, this type of clay and glaze need to be fired
@@UmiCeramics how do you fire it when you glaze all sides ? How come it doesn't get stuck
what is that liquid you're dipping it in (brisque white glaze)? do you need other materials to dry it?
Hi, that liquid once fired in a high temperature kiln becomes the white glossy "glass" layer at the end of the video.
wow that's great!(✯ᴗ✯)
wish you didn't need a kiln
