- Hi from my new video! I finally finished the ceramic art supplies I made for myself. You can watch the palette, water container, brush holder, cup, bowl, and more in the video. The process was a bit challenging for me, but the results are amazing! I must say they turned out better than I expected. They are all ceramic and baked in special ceramic ovens. I completed the process with the help of a professional because I had no experience in baking and glazing. I hope you enjoy it 👩🏻🎨

For those who are curious about the glazing process of my ceramics, here is an additional note: In the final stage, the ceramics were glazed to give the surface a shiny finish. They were then fired again at high temperature to achieve that glossy glassy look. I received help from a professional friend of mine for the glazing and firing process. This is why I did not include the details of these steps in my video. Since the purpose of my video was not to provide education on ceramics, I did not feel the need to provide technical details. I wanted to add this note for those who are curious about how to make a shiny surface. I recommend that those who want detailed information about glazing consult with professionals in this field. I do not want to provide incorrect information ❤️
❤️
Thanks for Sharing! Do you just glaze over your drawing? Wouldn’t it destroy the pattern? I made some pieces but never draw something, it looks so amazing that I also want to try. Greetings:)
Beautiful. You have inspired me to rehydrate some clay. I always need palettes for watercolor and those are truly gorgeous. Mine will turn out way more rustic. Lol
@@mlou9564 Hey there! Potter here 🙋♀️ Yes, you put a clear glaze over top of everything to make the surface shiny and to make it impervious to liquids. Then you fire the pieces for the second time (it’s called the “glaze firing.” If you don’t clear glaze over the top, the surface of the ceramic will be matte and also not food/liquid safe. The porous surface of the stone would absorb water and over time get moldy.
@@elyssasasongko5618 Hi🙂Can it be done in a regular oven? I'm thinking of doing a topic on pottery with my little ones🙂
When my father was in high school ( 80 years ago ) he made a large clay bowl in pottery class. He imprinted his fingers all around the surfaces. It is my most prized earthly possession! He died when I was 9 and have always been glad to have such a personalized memory of him.
As someone who does pottery but slightly loosing passion, (burnt out), seeing you make, this was very encouraging so thank you for sharing You did a great job
I wish you could find your passion again. 🍀
Very satisfying and aver beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Making your own art supplies that fit into your hand's unique shape is such a good idea! Man, I wish we did these sorts of things in art class when I was young.
What stop you from doing it now
@@mellowsdiy1774 Ah, the fact that I'm trying to finish all the crafts I have hoarded throughout the years. I set a goal this year to finish all my other projects before picking up anything else. I believe this is a project for future date too, though!
I’m a middle school art teacher and I had all my 8th graders and 7th graders make ceramic palettes
Thank you for sharing. These items are so pretty and imaginative and what a great gift for an artist. You could definitely get a thrill from using them. I love the whale and could see it being the base for many different items.
Sometimes watching a relaxing vid of someone creating something beautiful with their own hands is enough to restore my own creative soul enough to want to make some of my own creations, even though my medium is paper and glue. Thank you. Your work is lovely. 💐🙏🏽❤️
🎉
Whaddya do with paper and glue? I make jewelry with them.
@grittykitty50 3-D paper tole, small booklets with simple sewn bindings, small ornaments for miniature holiday trees. Years ago, I used to make paper jewelry (pins). I'll have to get back to that... my problem was finding small enough pinbacks. I suppose I could've tried to use the pieces as earrings, but I hadn't really thought about it. I'll bet your stuff is wonderful. Paper is great fun - and very forgiving, thank goodness.
These all feel so personal and pretty! My favourite is the whale palette and the little flower dishes
❤️🥰
the whale was my favorite also 💕
I love the whale,,the colors are perfectly lovely! All of it, beautiful! Thank you!
ДА!МЕНЯ ТОЖЕ ОЧАРОВАЛ КИТ.

You are not a professional you said. But your work shows that you are not less than a professional. I just loved your work ❤
The whole set of tools turned out lovely. I never really thought about it before, but it is a comforting idea to work with beautiful handmade items.

All your pieces turned out fantastic! Very lovely to watch, Thank you!
Merci, Tugce Dumlupinar, pour cette vidéo douce et poétique. Voir naître de si jolis objets d’un bloc de terre, c’est pour moi la définition de l’art. Merci pour votre travail.
Love those sounds of the process and the slow filming of the whole creation ❤
This video is so peaceful! All the sounds are just so relaxing 😌😌 i watch it till the end without taking my eyes off froom the process👌👌🙌🙌
this was somewhat..very healing to watch. Thank you for your beautiful work.
Beautifully done. 😍 Thank you so much for sharing. I hope this will kick-start my attempt at making my own, too. I just bought 25 lbs of white porcelain clay 2 months ago for making my own watercolor palettes. I have 2 girlfriends with kilns and plenty of ceramic shops nearby. Watching your creativity definitely inspires me. I like the textured bottoms of the pieces also. ❤
These pieces are amaaaazing!!!!! Please be sure to be very careful breathing any of the colorant in. If you can do that outside it is best. I have tried sooo many times to make palettes but they always crack. I prefer to do the carving when the clay is pretty dry but I will definitely be trying to do it like you did. I LOVE EVERY SINGLE PIECE YOU MADE!! Please pleeease make more clay videos!! After you get your pottery back from being bisqued you can take some fine sandpaper and wet sand it! It looks sooo much different when it’s been sanded. Doing the back is really important so the piece doesn’t end up scratching the surface that it sits on. Just rinse it and use a sponge to get the wet clay off really well and allow it to dry a day or so before glazing! I just looked at your other work and I am just in awe of what an amazing artist you are. Wow!!
I've never seen such a clean/pristine clay studio/work area. Your precision is amazing. Love your production: no talking, no irritating music...all very meditative. LOVE YOUR DESIGNS!! What brand of powdered stain/colorant are you using? What kind of clay and firing cone? Thanks so much. Well done!
Absolutely Stunning! Thank you so much for sharing!
Maravilhoso tudo que vc faz. Parabéns.❤❤❤

Love the whale. I made a whale palette a few years ago, sadly it’s tail broke off before firing but he’s my favourite companion on my desk when painting. Your work is so calming and pretty
This is the most relaxing, beautiful thing I’ve watched in a long time
That is very calming to watch! ❤
I like your works! It's so calming and beautiful! And i have the same ruler
Absolutely beautiful art set. So very pretty.
I am floored :) I admire so much that you are making your own art supplies.
This really makes me miss pottery class in school. I might take it up again because of this video ❤
Hi from South Africa. Watching this made me think of my days as a Fine Art student where I majored in ceramics, mainly hand built ceramics. I absolutely loved it but no longer do it cos we always have electricity load shedding on a daily basis n that affects the firing times for the kiln. I miss clay work so much. Now I Just paint in watercolor as I had to find something else to do that didn’t require long periods of electricity use.
Thank you so much, I usually have UA-cam on and it is background sound, I hardly watch the videos. I must say I watch every second of this video and LOVED it. Subbed for sure.... :o)
I have fantasized about doing this very thing but have no experience with clay. You did a great job!
