Probably should increase the DR or health threshold a bit for final phase. She'll most likely get killed way before she can even start final phase attack
Now *this* is a cool bossfight. Its design is menacing, its animations are great, and I love the way it reuses aspects from the other mechs! The puzzle based attacks looked fun, and the boss was an overall treat to watch! My only issues is that the repeated creeper phases look more like padding/filler than a genuine part of the fight, and that some of the attacks don't require you to put much thought or skill into dodging (especially in the drone segment.) I feel the fight would work better if the boss would start using attacks during the 2nd and 3rd drone sections, and you couldn't teleport outside of her arena. Beyond that though, I adore the new Mechdusa fight!
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial Yeah, that too. I think the mod suffers from attack patterns being a bit too basic and same-y, an issue a lot of modders face when making multiple fights. I just really like this Mechdusa's charm and design. Very few modders can capture that personality in their fights.
Did they change up progression to make this thing post-plantera? If not, why did you use spectre armor? And, if they did, why'd you use the hood and not the mask given this is a no-hit?
Armor wasn't really my concern since you can kill the boss with pretty much anything after Hallowed set, it's the movement accessories I was worried about
Actually it's not. That's an unavoidable debuff that always inflicted on you when you have to stay in the colored circles. The phase change removed the circle but the debuff stayed, notice that there wasn't any damage number on me
do you have to play the zenith seed to fight him or does the mod allow you to do it in a normal playthrough, (if not ig i can always cheat in the box.)
Bro built like a Destiny raid boss. But I do agree, fun to fight but not to no-hit. It's pretty much the thing with a lot of mechanic-based fights (a good example is nihilus, holy hell...)

This is a very creative Mecha Dusa! It takes a bit of everything from the other fights, and I love it!

Final phase could use a little more work. The circle area is way too smal and the fight becomes laser spam

Apparently this reworked mechdusa is at post golem stage, and I didn't use the mask because it decimates the boss in seconds.

these mech bosses have been cool and all, but maybe a little too sleepy on the difficulty. there could be a lot more interesting things going on

Goozma is just base sprite with color changing effect. Background are recorded from ingame
