Literally the same scenario. I find some of the thinkific tooling to be a bit simple. I want to upgrade and have been looking at options. Thanks for the review!
The intro was TOTALLY me cos I just watched an amazing Thinkific vs Kajabi review by Tricycle Creative... And I was convinced Thinkific was the way to go 😂 Thank you for the superb review, I'm now convinced that Learnworlds is better than Thinkific!
We are seriously considering switching and thank you so much for this! One thing I would like to know is how long did the migration take and how did all your marketing, domain links etc get managed. We need to plan for this but have no idea of the time it would take.
Hi there. When i did this it was all pretty quick, but I only had one course and a few pages at the time. Domain redirects are pretty quick, but there will always be an hour or two of down time. I think they over help to switch if you need it. Just get everything setup before switch the domain and links
@@channelprofits thank you I appreciate it - we have heaps of courses so this is gonna take a while and yes good advise on setting everything up first.
Very good video - thanks - exactly the same issue I am facing - Thinkific vs LearnWorlds. Do you know what the quiz section is like for each? Are they the same or one better than other. I want my online courses to be as interactive and dynamic as possible so learners are engaged. Things like quizes, true false, multiple choice, polls, put in order or rank, match and marry, reorganise blocks etc... Hope you see what I mean.
They both have quiz features with a variety of questions and answer formats such as multiple choice, true false, assignments etc. But learnworlds just added a new form feature that also can be used for marketing and for in-course surveys which takes it a step further Than thinkific. I hope that helps. G
Best comparison I have seen as I am also trying to decide which one to use. I am a secondary school teacher looking to provide a full curriculum for a particular subject for a significant number of students to use as their main study tool. I want to be able to group students into classes with their teacher as if they were at school and for their teacher to be able to view progress, results, assignments etc. Wondering which platform would be best able to achieve this please??
Hi glad it helped. I think learnworlds as you can create groups in the community and have more functionality over teachers. But I would speak to their support directly and run through your work flow so you know it will do what you need.
Thanks for this! Very helpful. I'm curious about the difference in payment options for users (payment plans, etc), and especially the ability to develop memberships/subscriptions. Any insights on the differences between the two on this front? Thanks!
Learnworlds has lots of coupon options. Thinkific as well, but if i remember right learnworlds had a few more. I'll be doing a update video on course platforms in the coming months to see what's changed.
Hi. Just curious if you did end up changing and what your experience was. It would be really helpful to know if you were happy you made the switch, if there were any surprises, and how it went. I'm contemplating the same move. Any issues you battled with? Did your school improve noticeably? Thanks a lot.
I left and had no regrets. I have since moved to a platform that allowed multiple schools. But I'm thinking to move back again as Learnworlds has much better student and community features.
Hey, yes I made the move. No regrets much more fexability and the design side it so much better. They also seem to be adding more features faster than Thinkific.
Yeah that was one annoying thing. But they have so many student features inside I actually haven’t used the interactive video feature as of yet. You still have access to the video analytics which was what I wanted most.
@@sandiapillay9691 neither charge extra transaction fees apart from Learnworlds on the "starter" account (which is $5 per transaction). However the starter account is about $20 cheaper than the "basic" Thinkific account, so depends how many sales you expect when first starting out. You mechant service (Stripe, Paypal) will obviously charge you their standard rates on both softwares though.
How is the email marketing process in Learn Worlds? I was considering Kajabi for that added automation. However the limit on the products made me pause!
learnworlds has built in email notifications for sales etc and a messenger system with community that you can use. But it doesn't have an auto responder built in like Kajabi. However, personally after testing tools with email built in (including Kajabi) I prefer to keep email separate. I currently use Convertkit with Learnworlds.

It looks like to use LearnWorlds interactive video features require the more expensive plan.

Cost? thinkific no tx fees
I think the tax fee depends on the country you are paying from.
@@channelprofits tx = transaction fees. The price point what they take make vs you....the differences - which one is better.
