After buying a boat and sailing it up to Sitka, Alaska, from Seattle, Washington, I settled in for the summer. After three weeks cruising, I found returning to work near impossible. I found that I was no longer interested in work and had an unquenchable desire to leave the working world behind and continue following me dream of sailing around the world. The only problem; where does a guy who knows next to nothing about sailing, sail around the world.
In this season, I explore how to do this. I will be trying everything from working on making "passive" income to actually taking a sailing class so I know what I'm doing. I will also be exploring everything in between including, route planning, how to make money while sailing, learning what you need to sail around the world, and anything else you will need to do or learn in order to cruise full time.
So I already hear the question, "If you are new to sailing, how are you going to teach ME how to sail around the world or sail full time." Well there is an easy answer to that. There is just as much education in learning what not to do, or what not to waste your money on, as there is in the successes I will have in planning and executing this trip. In addition, This channel is aimed at the thousands of sailors out there that either dream about doing this or the boat owners that have given up on sailing full time, feeling it is impossible. If an average everyday kind of guy like me can figure out how to do it, I know you can too. Plus you will have the additional knowledge of what to do, and what not to do from watching and learning from my triumphs and disasters.
So let’s begin!

Good intro vid. Gives us a little more info about you and your journey. Might consider letting us know what some of your future plans are. Won't be held to them of course since we all know how fast plans can fly out the window lol. Stick with it though. Your viewer count will get there.
Glad you were able to find me again! Changing the channel did appear to have a few side effects in both the algorithm and viewers. I'm working through it though.
I'm glad you enjoyed the intro. Good news, I do have a video coming that gives some more insight on future plans. I'm hoping to start releasing videos more consistently starting in January, but will definitely try to get a few out between now and then. In the meantime, I'll be working on a few things that were suggested in a channel review to hopefully continue to improve.
