Omg the laundry one is genius!!! This is one of the hardest tasks for me because I have to go from a top loading washer to a front loading dryer and the amount of times it’s caused an event is insane. This is absolutely going on my task list for training
I already have a sd for a multitude of issues My school nurse has a kid with pots and she said I was showing alot of symptoms of it and need to check it out lol qwq
@@LunaTheServiceDoodle I think it could be but the nurse confirmed my suspicions so next appt I'm planning on asking to do the testing for it (I think it's called the tilt table test but I can't remember lol) My family doesn't like me testing for anything bc I've "been diagnosed with everything in the book" 🥲🤣
I do not, but I will try to soon. It took a lot of work with Luna. I had to start small with a pencil and reinforce the command "bring it here." I dropped it in front of her, and when she picked it up I would say the command and take it from her. Over time we built up distance and word association. It helps if your dog already knows how to fetch. I don't know if that is helpful lol
@@LunaTheServiceDoodle that does make sense and yes knowing your process is helpful. It’s funny because my dog is a lab and usually retrievers are really good at fetch but it took her a while to get the hang of it she does enjoy it now as a game though and has been doing really good on retrievals with the objects we practice with the most but I don’t think it’s a thing she’ll generalize to any object I drop for a while yet. She does seem to enjoy the task though so that is good.
Its a wired question, but may I ask what HR di you decide was high ? I want to try to learn it to my dog (with the sent techniques) but i dont know which high HR should I use ... knwking that my HR can goes between 40 and 180 and that I sometime presycope episodes at like "just 130"... thanks
My beginning alert threshold was at about 115-120, but I'm also on medication to lower my heart rate. It's really up to you and what you feel is necessary

That's definitely something to look into if you feel like that is a possibility.

Do you have any videos on how you trained the laundry help or item retrieval

How did they start alerting to hear rate?
We used scent training techniques to get her to notice the change in my heart rate through smelling my saliva.

Is there a certain program you used to teach her the tasks?
What breed is Luna?
