I am Hungarian and I was born in Budapest. This video is so well done that even the Hungarian Government could not have made a better video for promoting our capital city. Simply by watching this video made me more proud of my Hungarian origin. Thank you very much for the experience!!! :)
I'm a first generation Canadian of 100 % Hungarian heritage, who has traveled a multitude of times to the old country. All I can say is well done/Attaboy!!! :)
I just returned from my first visit to Budapest. It won't be my last. The city is beautiful, historical and culturally wonderful. As usual, Alex does a marvelous job introducing us to another wonderful world city.
Oh goodness gracious I've been craving Budapest, thank you both so much! Absolutely fantastic quality including divine, scenic shots and elegant locations ah!!
I'm a real Budapestian, I love my city and this episode is more than awesome, you covered it so well! I'm a big fan of yours, I follow you from the very beginning. We went to Hong Kong last month I watched the HK episode and made everything so easy and clear. So, thank you and keep going boyz!
Finally you're doing a city which I have visited, so I can finally confirm just how accurate you are in terms of how it'll be. Certainly not disappointed one bit. Also, it'd be so great if you did a Helsinki episode. Thanks for the great videos so far!
We've had a similar reaction to many of the places we've been filming lately. It's a lovely feeling, to be genuinely delighted and surprised by a place.
Brilliant video,my parents were hungarian & i used to spend every summer holiday in budapest & then go to see more relatives in zahony & tiszamagyaros, havent been back for 3 or 4 years, but hoping to go back shortly, beautiful city & amazing people.
Just been researching my trip to Budapest and came across your video. Plainly speaking your vlog is the best ive seen .very well narrated aswell . Thankyou for posting this . Cheers .
It is awesome! Sudan has more pyramids than Egypt (Pyramids of Meroe), and are amazing. South Sudan is a different country and the war zone you are thinking of.
Although I know little about Sudan, and I do agree that this video -- along with this boy's other videos -- is lovely and nicely done, contrary to what your comment suggests, it is very difficult to make a bad video of Budapest. 😊
My City!!! The Queen of the Danube! About tipping: because Forints have no petty change(like cents and pence), prices go easyly into the 1000s and 10000s, therefore you may carry around 10000 and 20000 bills, so you most likely WILL want some change back. Example: you treat the missus for a dinner that comes up around 23000(64quid), just say "give me change from 25" if you don't say anything, they will bring you ALL the change. Beware! In the east we dont say sorry and thank you for no reason. If you hand over a big bill, saying "Thank you" they will think you are feeling generous, and pocket the money with a big smile. "Thank you" means the transaction is closed, so don't get upset, but consider the different culture. Happy travelling, and enjoy the city!
Loved Tibor, and I apologize in advance for misspelling his name. I have my fingers crossed for travelling to Budapest next summer, and I would love to stay at the Corinthia. Definitely added to my bucket list, thanks!
Thanks for your great travel reports . As a matter of fact i've been led to use one of them finding your comments pretty interesting in order to better introduce some educational purpose about food and san francisco . and this is epitomizing best what I was searching for online .. thanks again for the quality of your content !
Thank you for this informative, well-produced travel guide! I'm leaving for Budapest in one week for my first visit and I'm SO excited to go, but now I feel prepared to go too. Thanks!
Great video as always! Production always top notch. Was wondering if you’ll ever include “attractions” or “things to see/do” that are worthwhile in any future episodes?
excellent video, well done guys. just some feedback, when you are talking prices, please insert a subtitle in USD / GBP. its confusing trying to keep track of what things cost in home currency, such as at 15:55.
We used to do that in the past but currencies fluctuate so much that the information was almost always inaccurate. So we provide baseline costs in the local currency so people can then use google or XE.com, etc to calculate the cost in their own currency on any given day.
Attaché just an approximate price in EUR/USD would be fine, I guess people just want to get a rough idea. If the conversion rate drastically change in the long run, the local prices may also change a lot.
Hey Alex! Absolutely love the channel! I don't quite understand why you haven't done a Chicago episode though! I absolutely love living in the windy city and I consider it one of the best cities in the world. The food, culture diversity, and killer public transport make it a prime candidate for attache. Don't avoid us forever, come film a travel guide here!!
Hey, next time you’re in Budapest, check out the Flipper Museum! It’s a museum that has over 100 pinball machines and old classic arcade games which you can play unlimited for around 12 USD. This was one of our highlights in Budapest by far!
The tip thing is quite common in Ireland too. Say you're paying with your card and the bill comes to €90, most people will just say "Make it €100". (i.e. I'm giving you a €10 tip). Although we also have the option to leave cash on the table at the end if people want to do it that way instead.
Attaché out of Copenhagen, Budapest and Vinnea which one would you choose in terms of beauty and liveability. Please give me the honest answer without being diplomatic 😄 Lots of Love 💕
I am Hungarian and I was born in Budapest. This video is so well done that even the Hungarian Government could not have made a better video for promoting our capital city. Simply by watching this video made me more proud of my Hungarian origin. Thank you very much for the experience!!! :)
Respect and love to your city and country. Been there twice and love it.
I love my Europe. So close to each other, yet so different.
Greetings from Sweden!
Loved Budapest so much much. been there last November.
Very Beautiful, very safe, Very Organized and affordable.
Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I can't wait to visit it in a few weeks time.
Wow! Budapest is love. We traveled via train from Vienna. We did a day tour and regretted it. We should have stayed longer!
I love Budapest so much. I hope to go one day.
This city deserves more attention!
It really does.
@India Super Pro Gamer not as much as western european cities which is a shame because Budapest would make many European capitals look pedestrian
I visited Budapest a year ago, and simply loved it!! Thanks for reminding me of this beautiful city
I'm a first generation Canadian of 100 % Hungarian heritage, who has traveled a multitude of times to the old country.
All I can say is well done/Attaboy!!! :)

One of my favorite cities I’ve been to!
Yeah it's quite a place.
Finally a new video. Never clicked so fast. Love this channel.
Ha, thanks!
Never had a desire to go to Budapest before this video. They need to give you a spot on network TV.
No way! You posted this just the week before I visit Budapest for the first time. what are the odds? Thanks man!
They posted this a week AFTER I got back from Budapest. Haha.
Nice!
D'oh!
Really looking forward to that day when Attaché 's videos become consistent!.
big fan !!!!!!.
Heading to Budapest next month, and I can’t wait to experience this beautiful city.
Thanks!!
Finally you're doing a city which I have visited, so I can finally confirm just how accurate you are in terms of how it'll be. Certainly not disappointed one bit.
Also, it'd be so great if you did a Helsinki episode. Thanks for the great videos so far!
Thanks very kind, thank you.
Helsinki is one of our most requested cities - we'll get there soon.
Another well-made guide! I never thought about Budapest as a place to visit but this certainly has convinced me!
We've had a similar reaction to many of the places we've been filming lately. It's a lovely feeling, to be genuinely delighted and surprised by a place.
I got inspired by this video and recently I decided to take a trip to Budapest! OMG it was truly amazing! Beautiful city and nice people! Love it! ❤️
Greatest channel on UA-cam it’s a blessing that they get to travel and share everything with us!

I swear you could make Sudan sound awesome.
It is awesome! Sudan has more pyramids than Egypt (Pyramids of Meroe), and are amazing. South Sudan is a different country and the war zone you are thinking of.
We're actually in negotiations to film an episode there!
There are quite a few teaching jobs going right now at the Confluence International School in Khartoum if you are a) qualified and b) up for it!
Totally agree
Although I know little about Sudan, and I do agree that this video -- along with this boy's other videos -- is lovely and nicely done, contrary to what your comment suggests, it is very difficult to make a bad video of Budapest. 😊
"Hungarians are very open-minded when it comes to drinking." 😂
Great episode! Those Corinthia hotels look pretty amazing (and that duty manager was a legend!)
Thanks! Yes, Tibor is a legend.
My City!!! The Queen of the Danube!

Thanks! We couldn't resist.
Loved Tibor, and I apologize in advance for misspelling his name. I have my fingers crossed for travelling to Budapest next summer, and I would love to stay at the Corinthia. Definitely added to my bucket list, thanks!

new series YES!!!! The hotel is super beautiful!!!
It's an excellent hotel in an excellent city.
Great video, nice work! Buenos Aires for the next video?
This feels like one of the only channels that get 3x more views than subscribers on every single video
The amazing beer for a very low price was on of my favorite things.
Yeah they do good work with their beer.
Beer in Czechia or Poland is better. Hungary has some good wines.

Easily one of the best travel channels, but it really takes a while before you upload anything new.

Corinthia is an amazing hotel. Stayed in 2017. Will return.
Also, download the BKK Futar app. It's a stellar app that makes public transport a breeze.
is it better to visit for the first time with a tourist agency or on your own ? approximate cost with the agency is 650 euros for 5 days.
Please make a video about Prague too, it's as awesome as Budapest :)
