Giacomo Mosso what would you like to know? Honestly - dont come here at your young age. This city/country will mess up what you expect in terms of life quality, income and so on and will inhibit you from realizing some other plans of living/working elsewhere in the world. I say that half serious ;-) Cheers
Simon Simic If you have a chance to come here, do it. Im just saying, you get spoiled here. But life in Switzerland with all its conveniences and the nature all around is pretty great. This is a beautiful city, I spent a week there with my wife just recently and loved it. I like to call it the Europe for the Europeans. It’s a notch above the Europe we know. Yes it is a bit pricey but well worth it. You get what you pay for. Clean city, precise transportation and great service everywhere you go. I’ll definitely go back.

When I get off a TGV from Paris, I often must have a Bratwurst (veal sausage) before even mounting a tram or other train.... Likewise with the Zopf, the best gift to bring me for my friends who visit are Swiss wines, on a Friday a Zopf, or Swiss cheeses and local honey.
writerconsidered 😆 That was a lot about transportation, and not enough about the city. But, my ex boyfriend from Zurich did complain that it was sterile and boring.
If you only want to have a 'wander about' in Zurich (city, w/o airport and other cities), buy a Tageskarte (day pass) for the zones 110 (Zurich counts as 2 zones) and you can do anything you like for the whole day from 05am to midnight. You can even take a boat cruise on the Limmat & a little part of Lake Zurich. You find any info you'll need on www.zvv.ch/zvv/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets/daypass.html, presently 1 day pass without any reductions is CHF8.80. Have fun!
