    I work for an airline in India, this is by far the best service we could get in India, our standards are too low, we don’t prefer full service carrier but we want amazing treatment, our laws are flawed because our govt is corrupt. In Europe you get compensation of up to 600 euro if airline is at fault

    Yes this is an open scam run by Indigo. Exactly same happened me around 18 months ago. I had connecting flight from Zurich to Istanbul and to Delhi. In Istanbul they did the same thing that there is a technical issue on the plane, they kept us waiting for few hours and then said that we can’t fly and you will be adjusted in next flight which was after 24 hours. People are left to lay down on airport floor for the whole night. I think it was all intentional by Indigo because they may not have enough passenger and they combined 2 flights to save cost and make profit.

    It has happened before. I was on an indigo flight last year from Vienna to Mumbai via Istanbul and was stranded in Istanbul for a day with no support whatsoever.
    It was a nightmare and the airport was chaotic.

    I travelled with the exact same route. Indigo is not fit to operate an international route. A320neo is not made for 7 hour international flight with no food or screens or wifi. They are also very unorganised at Istanbul airport on their best day,

    All over the world now airlines are forced by legislation to compensate passengers if there is a delay or cancelation, full refund, food, and, if required, accommodation. India needs a similar law, and it should be implemented. 6 strikes, 0:44 and your fleet is grounded if you do not comply

    I booked qatar and turkish airlines twice but indigo is operated from doha & istanbul with it. my dad was so angry that dont ever book the ticket which is even partially operated by indigo,as the service is so worse and no food. it feels like we got scammed. next time i am not going to buy a ticket of indigo directly or indirectly.

    This is one of the worst airlines I have experienced in my life. From New Delhi to Doha, they didnt give food at all. Itna conjusi bhi aacha nahi hain Indigo wale. Seat confort nahi hain. Wohi same domestic wale seats International flights mei bhi.

      Dont reply to my concern if you dont have knowledge. A little knowledge is dengerous which is true whoever have replied my concern here. I booked flight of Qatar Airways which is not low cost flight. Qatar Aurways has tie up with Indigo. From Delhi to Doha it was Indigo and from Doha to Latin America it was Qatar Airways. In same root(Delhi-Doha) most of the times I traveled through Qatar Airways and they always provide enough facilities including food. Its only Indigo who beg money and ask customer to buy food in international flight.

    100% true. The flight is still delayed by more than 8 hours and so far no update from airline. I am travelling with a 3 year old and the food coupon is valid at few restaurants where vegetarian food isn’t available. Pathetic customer service.

    We had a trouble at HEATHROW, flight delayed until evening, no response from airlines but all passengers made a lot of hue and cry , were given overnight accommodation . This APPLIES to DEVELOPED NATIONS only 😢😢😢

    More than 1000 passengers are stranded on Dec 13th because flights have been cancelled for the 2nd consecutive day. The ground staff has no information to share. The Captain's message was also funny the message was just that flight has been cancelled due to technical reasons and some technicians were inspecting the aircraft. This is a very lame reason
    How will there be a technical difficulty for 2 days in a row and then no information shared to the passengers on when to expect the next flight

    They are pretty bad on domestic routes.
    On a Pune Bangalore flight, 15 min prior boarding everyone received a message that the flight was cancelled. As usual the convenient words - due to technical reasons - were used.
    The cabin crew and pilots waiting with the passengers were also surprised.
    Flight finally departed 4 hours later.
