When an unhinged man plays a game that can make anyone unhinged, it makes for prime stream content.
Imagine if he played Mario Party, a really unfair one specifically, like Nintendo’s crackhead phase around 8 where every game was balanced horribly. They’d have to evacuate the Northern Hemisphere to keep everyone safe from him after that.
one of my favorite parts of this stream was whenever jerma would place higher than last the other streamers chats would go "Pog Jerma" for him getting 10th place

The best part is that jerma going so slow isn't his fault mostly. He's playing as dry bones, one of the worst speed stats.
This setup is good with practice. Small racers/karts/wheels build mini turbos fastest and have the best handling, so they can cut corners close and pull off ultra mini turbos on almost every turn, sometimes even on straight sections if they are wide enough.
I learned to play mk8 this way (because it is the meta according to the wiki) and maxed the single player content with it. However i suspect speed builds are ideal for tracks that are more linear and have fewer drift opportunities.

I kinda wish that Jerma would play Mario Kart with all of his actual friends instead of a bunch of bigshots on Twitch. You can tell that they were kinda ignoring him all game and Jerma ended up having to talk with chat for most of the video. It's a little sad when you realize how much fun he'd be having if he played with Vinny, Etalyx, or Star. Now THAT would be a legendary stream!
You should watch the Battleship series with Ludwig, I thought it was a lot of fun and Jerma had good chemistry with the host.

I've got ADHD and it makes me feel like shit when hanging out with other people. Watching Jerma makes me not hate ADHD. The fact that he ISN'T in doing all the stuff the other streamers are makes it that much more endearing to me
I've got ADHD too and If you can learn to utilize it's ups and downs it can be quite helpful. For example, I can think of creative ideas incredibly quickly and can set my mind elsewhere to get through mental strain, while at the same time focusing on a single task for long is difficult and I can be known to spurt out quick jokes that get ignored immediately and aren't funny. Through time I've learned to accept my fate as the madman, and use my absurdist creativity to entertain others when I'm approached, while minding my own business. If you can learn to master it by focusing on a goal in the future that you care about, I've found it easier to stay calm. At the end of the day, ADHD is more of a set of ups and downs than a curse. Mastering it and accepting makes life easier.
