there’s multiple reasons this is wrong. All you have to do is be pretty and be agile. also im guessing you mean that cheerleaders and better in their sport then football players are in theirs because the way you worded it it seems like your saying cheerleaders are good at football. and remember without the football teams they wouldn’t have a job
@@JacobStokoe-xq3zc watch the show on the dcc. These girls get body shamed, critisized, overworked, and made to feel terrible about themselves. They arent allowed to go down or up in weight. And can be cut from the team at any point for any reason. All because they want to do what they love. They get their whole styles changed just so they can join, hair cut, colored, ect just to later be cut from the team. Many of the girls have had mental issues because of the harsh environment and still continue to be apart of that team because its their dream. There is so much more to it than being pretty and agile.

For football, it's DCC. Girls come from out of state to try out for this squad. For basketball, it's the Laker Girls.

In my country we don’t have this, so this is very interesting to me. Cheerleading is fascinating and a true sport! It ain’t easy from what I’ve seen.
We don't have it either. Yes one does have to be fit. But dancing / cheerleading with tassels / pom poms - wouldn't classify it as a sport and some of the "uniforms / outfits" look like one is wearing a bra & knickers. What addition / benefit are they to the team that the hundreds / thousands of regular supporters in the stands bring or watch them on tv?
depndes on your definition of sport, it is an athletic activity for sure but not a sport....

I was going to say - pretty much every other team that has a dance team - may only be victims of less recognition - because they each have very talented and aspiring people on their squads with high standards of discipline and public image and are no less deserving of a position on anybody's "top ten" that is based on nothing more than subjective opinion.
