Let's talk about the elephant in the resto-bistro-lounge scene: DJs who don't know what they're doing. 🙈 Having a DJ is trendy, but it's pointless if they don't understand the crowd's vibe or the venue's brand. It's like hiring a chef who can't cook! 🤯 Basic mixing skills are a must, folks! Overdriving the sound and causing distortion is a major no-no. It's like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. 😖 But hey, this is just my passionate rant. 🤷♀️ Keep creating awesome content! Ignore my grumbling and enjoy the good vibes. ✨
My husband has been performing professionally as a guitarist in various bands for more than fifty years and says this about DJs: Your only skills are song selection to suit then improve the mood, and sound engineering to suit the venue. This one got it wrong. lol.
Hey guys! I love Spago . I had dinner there in May . Sat by the window as well as the patio was full. A sangria tree …my kind of brunch lol . Everything looked delish . I’ll have to try brunch there on my trip in late September. You crazy kids looked like you enjoyed it 😎😎😎
We have been wanting to try Spago for some time now and your video sealed the deal. We’d probably skip the pizza, but the pasta looked amazing, and the lemon dessert … Wow! Love that sangria tree as well, and the view. Jon & Gillian
I love the way you kids eat. Husband loves his caviar with smoked salmon eggs Benedict and also with his bagels and cream cheese with smoked salmon. It is caviar, no wrong way to eat it. Keep up the great work.
@@karenrockemam7921 definitely worth a trip just to see again. For us it’s so easy to repeat, one because it’s a short flight, two you can do something different every time
Had to see this great video again as I've never been to brunch there! Great table! You might want to change the price of the fettuccine from $38 to $42 which is on your bill. The price of your pizza used to be $39. Maybe it had a less pricey caviar. Cheers! Gloria
Love you guys and your reviews. Could you tell all the people in the background of your videos to be quiet please?! 😂 Great review I would try Spago’s now.
Yay! Y'all finally went to my Vegas happy place! That spiked lemon dessert is the best dessert I've had in Vegas! Have y'all ever had a better one? Of course that view is so amazing! Cheers! Gloria in far far West Texas
The pizza looked great but wow the price is crazy. Both the pasta dishes had me salivating. Oh and the tower of sangrias looked refreshing and perfect on a scorching day. Loved your view and the fountain show. Great video but the DJ was so obnoxious. Thank you for sharing, you two are so fun to watch.
Sangria Tree???!! WHAT?!!! AMAZING Thank you for doing the expensive pizza...I usually splurge on one meal during my trip and will do it on this place. THANK YOU!!!
I am writing this before we watch the video. We were there last September, and we loved it, my 1st time eating wagyu (I died and went to heaven). We sat on the patio so we watched the fountains., The service was amazing. It was so fitting for our last night there.
My wish for you is that your biggest dilemma in life is this: Do I eat my caviar in one bite? Do I spread it around? Enjoyed Spago's with you so very much.
Wow...will be in LV in one week from now...unfortunately Sunday afternoon till Friday...so no chance for Spago Brunch...I had dinner there 2 years ago and it was delicious...as I am Austrian, visiting a Wolfgang Puck restaurant is a must...will go to WP Bar & Grill over at MGM...looking forward to it...I regret that his Italian option at the Crystal Shops is gone...this was so a nice spot
That looked so great. Every part, especially the pizza. Quick question, have you ever tried bringing a fidget spinner, and balance a plate on it to spin for the presentation? Perhaps it won’t work, but I can’t help but ask…🤷♂️. Awesome and informative restaurant review, as always. 🥃🥃
ALSOOOO how is that possible that one of those sangria's equals two take out cups....AMAZING!! I was just there for about two weeks last month and wish I had visited this place...next time!! :):)
I could do without the DJ too. It's a little much for an indoor brunch! The food looks incredible, and that sangria tree is a steal compared to other Vegas drinks! Love the view - very similar to Lago!
If I'm paying $450 for brunch in a "fine" dining establishment like Spago no way would I want the DJ blasting, that's nuts. They are catering to those who gamble enough to get a nice F&B credit and need to use it up. The "free" $450 room charge brunch makes the $10K loss in the casino last night less painful. Food did look great, thanks.
I’m glad you guys pointed it out, not that we couldn’t miss hearing it, haha! I haven’t been since they moved it from Caesar’s to Bellagio. I’m guessing the DJ isn’t there at dinner maybe?
The music is awful, the prices are awful (and I love Vegas high end dining) but we thank you guys for trying. Spago is legendary but the prices are insane. We will not stop there when we come to Vegas in two months.
As good as the food looks, I refuse to pay that kind of money and have to listen to blaring music. Keep those "DJ's" in the clubs, and at the pool parties!
Nah. While do earn good wages and spend more on dining and travel, but unlike a lot of others our age we spend less on our house l, cars and kids so we just shift where we spend our dollars
Rachael has been to Las Vegas about 35 times, Josh doesn’t remember but guessing 70-80 times, totally lost count. We have been together 28 times since 2020 We have been going about every other month
if I pay extra, will they get rid of DJ?
I wish
Totally ruins the whole vibe, I would personally go over and unplug it
The Sangria tree should be free for that DJ
I wish I’d left before ordering the music was so annoying. Food was great, service terrible, atmosphere dire.
@@sambam9120 The noise levels in restaurants and the weed smoke are the number one complaint in Vegas

@JoshRachael my wife agree that we will be doing Brunch next. I thought the DJ seemed out of place for a restaurant like that, am I wrong?
My wish for you is that your biggest dilemma in life is this: Do I eat my caviar in one bite? Do I spread it around? Enjoyed Spago's with you so very much.

The sangria to go cups totally shocked us 😂😂 and were well worth the price!!
Oh next time get the spago chocolate chip cookies! Some of the best i ever had! Great video! TY
Thanks for the tip!
Abed has issues with Wolfgang. Working on getting him to try Spago. Great review y’all!
Awesome! Thank you!
Spago 👨🍳 😘 can’t go wrong 🎉 love your food videos!
Thank you
Oh my goodness. I thought you guys where in a night club 😂 the food looked delicious the lemon 🍋 dessert looked so cute
Hard to imagine how loud it gets for dinner if this is at 11am

I wouldn’t bet in that. We have seen them at several fancy soots
Is this new? Did it go where the Picasso just shut down? Now I can't wait to come back to Bellagio!
This one has been around for a bit. It took the old Olives spot in the shops area going from Bellagio to Caesars
Picasso is downstairs
@@JoshRachael thanks!
The pasta looked great with all of the different ingredients, the pizza what was the size of the pizza.I don’t hear what was the last dish.
The last dish was a lemon dessert that eats sort of like a mousse

I’m sure you 2 were feeling really “NICE” after all those Sangria’s!!! 😁😁
Very!
We should go back just for the pizza and sangria!
Haha that’s the most expensive stuff
Yea. What Rachael said 😂!
What ship you going on next month? ❤
We will be in Utopia in less than 2 weeks!
Spago never disappoints. The pizza is Wolfgang Puck’s signature dish that put him on the map in the 1980s.
Why we had to try it
it looks like someone dropped the lemon tart
🤣
$21 for avocado toast!?!?! yeah that a serious no. These prices are 3x what they should be. $366 for brunch is absurd. You didnt even get that much.
We were pretty full when we left and definitely got our buzz on for the cost at least
Why the DJ? When I’m paying that kind of $$$ - I want relaxation. Everything looked wonderful.
We have no idea why the DJ….its a pretty common occurrence in Vegas, but we much appreciate a venue we can have a conversation!
portion sizes seemed kinda small... if I inhaled that bolognese would be gone.
🤣
You both ran 10 miles from that carb load right…….

Too loud 🤔
Definitely louder than what we prefer
Not a fan of super crusty pizza. Lol
I can understand that
Yeah you paying for that view and the Spago name. Id rather go to Flights
Sometimes we do enjoy uppaying for a view and experience
wish u guys leave Vegas n head to Wiss.
