15 pro max is probably better but not worth upgrading from 13 pro max. It’s still beast after 2 years. Battery is still strong, all good 👍

Yup true. I have an iPhone 15PM and some people in my family have the 13PM so I can compare the two. I've noticed a few differences:
-15PM is oddly hollower than 13PM. 15PM also has some relatively sharp transitions from the glass to the rounded titanium frame, whereas the 13PM doesn't.
-15PM feels quite noticeably lighter, rounder and smaller, but thicker. All in all it's more comfortable to hold except for these sharp transitions.
-15PM is obviously quite a lot brighter in max auto brightness.
-The haptic motor is noticeably stronger.
-48MP is amazingly detailed, but the 15PM can't focus nearly as close on objects with the main camera now, which has been really annoying when photographing close objects because it automatically switches to the a lot worse ultrawide camera
All in all I would say if you have the 13PM stick with it, if you're buying new buy the 15PM.

Hell yes me too!! Even used vs new! I see so many dumb people walking around with 14 or 15s / Pluses and I always think about their 60hz display and missing zoom camera 😂
The only reason I am thinking of upgrading is the USB C connection...but even with that I am having a hard time trying to convince myself to upgrade.
Might as well wait for the 16 at this point

I upgraded from the 13 pro max to the 15 pro max, and it is an enhanced upgrade. I like USBC I like the dynamic island, the curved edges make it more comfortable to hold. I still have my 13 pro max in my closet, I take it out every now and then to play games watch videos etc. its alpine green, I cant part with it yet, but I LOVE the 15 pro max and all I has to offer

Nice, I'd keep the 13 PM as well. I have a 15PM in Natural Titanium and I mostly love it. Which color do you have? Also did you notice that it's hollower and the transitions of the glass to the frame are way sharper? Because I did when I compared it to 13 Pro Maxes of family members
I went from an iPhone 8 Plus to the 13 PM, at 1st I thought my 13 PM was broke, the battery wouldn’t seem to drain, to save battery with my old 8 Plus I used to put the battery in low mode once it got to 50%.
Doing that with my 13 PM gives me 3 days between charging, I use the phone a lot, I’m not a gamer, just normal usage like texting, internet surfing and radio, I’ll stick with the 13 PM for now..

I feel like your exaggerating the battery life a little lol it will definitely last me a whole day when I am had it and I used it alot for gaming video editing and etc but I upgraded to the 14 and still about the same battery life one day on a full charge

Good review thanks , I’m glad you didn’t slam the 13 pro max as a bad phone, I think your review was honest . , I was thinking about upgrading to the 15 pro max from my 13 pro max , but my 13 pro max works great , even though I bought it in. 2021 , it’s fast , its reliable , battery is still very good . Why replace a perfect working phone . I’ll wait to next years releases 👍your review is what made me decide to wait until next year

My sierra blue 13 PM is an absolute BEAST! All the phone I need even now in 2024! I do plan on upgrading to the 15 PM but not until the 16 line up drops so I can find it used or refurbished at a lower price point.
What’s not mentioned is, I went from 15 pro to 13 pro max and low light camera quality for selfie cam is much worse on 13 pm. Especially Snapchat. And in camera app it’s more processed image and looks odd. In bright light they’re the same. Also once you have Dynamic Island, and you loose the feature like I did, you really miss it. It’s honestly a great feature
The feel of the edges is generally of no consequence given that most people will put their phones in protective cases.

I've upgraded from a 13 Pro Max to a 15 Pro Max. In my experience, the 13 Pro Max had a noticeably better battery life. That may be down to the new 3 nanometre chip in the 15 Pro Max: more powerful but also less power-efficient.
I like the notch on 13 more since the notch of 15 looks weird when watching videos.
I agree when watching wide screen videos. In most other scenarios though I prefer the dynamic island.
I am currently upgrading (waiting on shipping) from a 13 pro to a 15 pro max. Only reason I did upgrade and not wait for the 16 pro/max was because the 13 pro is having sim issues. It fails to recognize the SIM card or the eSIM. Thankfully Verizon has a great upgrade promotion now and with me calling them repeatedly over the last month they are sending me a 15 pro max for nothing but the tax.
I just bought an Amazon renewed IPhone 13 Pro Max 128gb for $550.. When I was settling :) with the 13 pro max over double the price 15 pro max the only thing I could see was the difference in bezel.. I'll bet in "dark mode" and using darker wallpaper those bezels would be close to impossible to know they are there when comparing. Good video!

I am absolutely not changing my 13PM not to even 16 pm. My partner has 15 pro max and she is unhappy because it overheats quickly etc and my battery is better than hers. iI might get 18 pro max one day. But considering that iphone makes worse quality now maybe not

I agree , it may not be easy to see and it may get overshadow by some new flashy feature, but if you have an older apple products side by side whether it be phones, Mac..etc the build quality is just night and day, they felt so much more premium, sturdy , less over heating
under Cook, is all just a typical CEO, trying to be cutting corner here and there and focus on maximize profits..while it is his job , but it just kinda sucks.
My 13PM is like my old 6s Plus. I kept it until the Xs Max. I will be doing the same with this phone until may iphone 18
Nice, it's one of the best iPhones, especially recently. Do you miss 3D touch though? I bought a 15 Pro Max as my first ever iPhone and I tried 3D touch on an iPhone X and although I've never had a phone with it I miss it! Everything opened so much faster on long presses! It would have been even better with proper software built around 3D touch. I really don't understand why they removed it.
Apple getting rid of physcial sim card slots lost me for life. Will never touch an iphone ever again. E-sims are just a headache especially for someone like me who likes to change devices every couple months.

Honestly I’m thinking of upgrading from an iPhone 13 Pro to a iPhone 15 pro max just because I wanna give my 13 pro to my daughter since she doesn’t own a phone yet she’s 11 years old I think she needs a phone to communicate with me when shes in school in case of an emergency etc.

Thanks for the video. My iphone 13 Pro Max randomly decides it's going to limit the brightness when I need it most (outdoors). The slider moves, but max brightness occurs at the 50% position. Then it randomly gives me back control. Sometimes powering it all the way off resets it, but then it will dim again soon after. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a fix? Please help :)
