The initial beat fills be with a kind of joy/happiness while the vocals/piano contrast this by hypnotising me in a sort of morbid fashion. What a beautiful track. Since hearing this song at work I have since started to create a playlist of their best. best
Soundmouse's vocals are always fully on point! and when do Phaelehs productions ever not sound pure class! Buy the EP everyone it is fucking amazing!!!!!
I know you posted this 9 months ago, but that is a very true comment! Metal and Bro-step will always be(as you put it) the same stuff screaming in your face. I couldn't of said it better myself! :)
At least he brought it to the mainstream, making it easier for others to find good material if they want to look; although I got into Dubstep through Gecko :]
So skrillex has more views.... their in different genres.....Skrillex is DUBstep and Phaeleh is CHILLstep... don't get it twisted... oh wait...too late. Apples and oranges hon.
@feliciasdo0pe We recognize Phaeleh's talent. The fact of the matter is, people that like Skrillex/Deadmau5 etc for dubstep are ignorant and lazy. They make no effort to learn more about a genre, they just listen to 'what's popular' on youtube and try to be trendy. People like us, we appreciate good music
I thought it was pronounced the same way. But since then I've seen him live a few times...... believe it or not it is actually pronounced "Fella" haha it didn't make sense to me either but that's what it is!
I like Skrillex, Deadmau5 and Phaeleh too. Is assuming that everyone who likes them must not like other bands/artists not the same ignorance? Plus not acknowledging what they have accomplished inside their genre (which they transformed as well). Not to mention Deadmau5 is not even dubstep, so I don't know how his name came about. And you should listen to some of his not that popular work (like Try Again) before you make the same mistake as those kids who only listen to the popular songs.
We're all brothers and sisters here, ill correct this for future use on your half, no hate, just a teaching lesson. Appreciate* :) Have a good day, friend.
Well thats not necessarily true...their profession is from an ancient age, the pied pipers. Music keeps us working, moving, dancing, it moves you, tones & frequencies change your thoughts & perceptions, a very important way of shaping humanity for a knowing few. Hows that for deep.
@feliciasdo0pe Fans of good quality underground musicians fall into one of three categories: 1) Smug proto-hipsters who want to keep it a secret and feel pretentious feeling of superiority because of that. 2) Reactive chumps lamenting the fact that their beloved artist isn't as popular as X-mainstream/popular artist. 3) Smart people who don't give a shit and just enjoy the music, free of any extraneous concerns. Which of these three are you? (Rhetorical question.)
Nice response MrVajradhara... I can honestly say I fall into the group 3) Smart people who don't give a shit and just enjoy the music, free of any extraneous concerns. And the reason I say that is because I enjoy ALL genres equally regardless of what others might say. It's all about the music not the pretension. I must admit however my favorite genre is chillstep because I do a lot of meditation.
@RumpleMatt Seriously. Skrillex straight fucked the dubstep scene. Seeing little kids walking around with skrillex shirts on makes me sick. Last week I laughed at a kid for being a lame for wearing a Deadmau5 shirt, and he looked at me and said "What, you don't like dubstep?"; I nearly had a seizure from the state of shock I was in. And then there's artists like Phaeleh with so much talent, who will never be recognized for it.

@feliciasdo0pe True say mate. True say. Almost makes me hope they at least come up with a new name for the crap that gets released.... Skrillex and the like are ruining the name of Dubstep IMO
Founders of electronic music? Is that a joke? Deadmau5 wasn't even born during the time of the foundation of electronic music. Good as an artist he is, he's nowhere near a "founder" of anything.
The initial beat fills be with a kind of joy/happiness while the vocals/piano contrast this by hypnotising me in a sort of morbid fashion. What a beautiful track. Since hearing this song at work I have since started to create a playlist of their best. best

Reminds me of my preteen years when I was finding out what trip hop was. Even though I had heard the sneaker pimps when I was seven year's old
At least he brought it to the mainstream, making it easier for others to find good material if they want to look; although I got into Dubstep through Gecko :]

@feliciasdo0pe why the hate?

You came all the way here from reddit to post this? Really jim?
My brother LOVES Daudmau5, but he also loves Phaeleh and other bands he could name and I can't. So. No.

@HardTranceDancer Skrillex sounds like bad video game music do me. I'm a huge EDM fan, but for some reason Skrillex'a music never appealed to me
makes me want to have like 30 babies with 30 women. At Once.
@feliciasdo0pe lol so true, Skrillex is horrible.

Obvious Troll. You get 1/10 because i responded
While I agree with you, its still a dicky music snob behaviour to mock a kid like that.
this is NOT dubstep
who cares ?
