So hate to spoil the awesome mood, but here's a fly-fishing tip.
You started with a pink streamer with a long body and a stinger hook all the way in the back. Big trout, especially browns will go for the head, so it's really easy to lose fish without a front hook. When you're swinging, you're presenting the rear or flank of the fly to the fish, so a rear hook makes more sense. In almost all other conditions the front hook will deliver much better hookup rates.
