Yes!! This is going to be a good one!
Now this vid is 🔥🔥🔥 kayak fishing and camping. Then cooking and night fishing and crawdads!!! Yeah!!! Doesn’t get much better than that!
Elk sighting was epic.
I know this lake 😎 not an easy lake to fish
Love following Jordan adventures here in the pnw
Jordan is my spirit animal!
Jordo, that bed head was everything !! Lol
🤣 🤣 you had me rolling when you tossed the butter in. “ Oh….it floats…..back fire” its the best. You my man are great. Keep them coming.
🤣🤣
Awesome stuff. keep it up man. i just brought my son home from the hospital, and we watch all your content to enjoy our day.
Perfect keto meal……..I saw them elk ,I was I thinking elk burgers…….mmmmm.mmmm……The high mountain Life ….Love it my brother
Elk burgers were on my mind too!
Crawdad scrambler looked killer and pretty cool hearing all the sounds a night.
Oh you sweet summer child. Yes, butter floats. lol.
O! It floats! Lol. The crawdad hunt was the best. You got so excited!
Now I know how to catch a crawdad! I love your videos ~ I am always learning something new. 🦞 Little is my fave ~ so curious, and whether you're catching a frog, a fish, or a crawdad, Little is cheering you on, or there is a Little-nose in the pot checking things out! 🐾
Most rounded and thought out catch and cooks on UA-cam, IMHO. Broke my heart a little when you dumped the mushroom water, though. Offer it to Little next time, he deserves the umami goodness.
Love grilled Caesar. A brush works well for applying the dressing.
Yeah it was like watching a movie very nice Jordan you love it little crawdads too very nice big thumbs up
Loved everything about the video camping kayak fishing cooking and best of all your dog looks very comfortable in the front of your boat
Yes! I have been hoping for more crawfish content (they are my sons’ favorite Addicted videos). Thank you!
Tell your son Hi 👋 for me!
I have watched a lot of your videos and enjoyed all of them. I am 63 and disabled now. I used to do the same thing as you, years ago. So now I am living through you. Love the long videos 📹 😍 👍 👍 👍
Keep em comin Jordan! Love the channel. You're the man. Thank you!!!!
You're just a national treasure Sir!
My grandpa would fly fish at night for big browns with a large white bucktail on a short 15 lb mono leader. I tried it a few times myself but never had great luck. Another fantastic recipe on this video, can’t wait try it.
Love this video great spot
Fresh crawfish boils are amazing! Thanks for bringing us along for the adventure Jordan! 🎣🔥🦐
I love elk…with mashed potatoes and gravy 😉 Actually they are so beautiful and fun to watch.
Another great one!!! Love watching elk myself bow hunt life!!
Little is so patient. What a good boy
Jordan next time you try catching crawdads by hand try using a forked stick to pin em then grab em. Love the hex hatch. Fun video.
Never thought of fly fishing at night that’s awesome man !
I love that lake! The hatch gets better in a couple weeks.
Thank you for the video Jordan. That was an awesome end to a n awesome 44th birthday. That made my brother and I plan a trip to Shasta lake. This weekend.
Happy Birthday! 🎉
Hit whiskeytown lake for kokanee too if you can. Been on fire for last few weeks
You totally need to get a crawdad trap...it's like mini crabbing!
I fish there mid August. The wind picks up in afternoon and I go huckleberry picking until evening bite when the breeze calms. I'm in a float tube so wind is a no, but I love fishing from the tube in the dark with just a head lamp. I've caught big browns, cutthroat and rainbows there. I catch the biggest browns on yellow hexagenia flies just after sunset.
How are Browns for eating? Idea, next time you are fishing at night, have a battery operated light turned on at camp by the shore to find your way back.
Fished that lake many times over the years. Also has eastern brook trout. Beautiful video. Jordan you create stories that are great adventures.
Golden hexeginia dry fly with touch of silicone last hour of light on a hot day is killer
🌞Fishy Sunny days 🌞
If you want a really crazy night time fishing experience, you gotta find a good spot to throw mouse flies at browns. Nothing like it
That hat is so dope!
Always cool to see the elk, we've got a small herd up here on the Skykomish you see on the river once in awhile.
Out in water at night. When he said we are in the bushes looks like we will be alright everybody. Had me rolling
Most memorable moment dry fly fishing by moonlight was hooking up and then having my line come off the water. The fish was flying all around! Flying fish? Nah, a bat!
Thank you. I love your videos.
WOW!! Awesome Video Jordan! Your cooking is amazing!! I've used your cooking recipes and it's absolutely lifted my cooking!! Thank You!! 🤗🤗
Glad I found a channel with someone who actually adventures rather than just trophy fishers. What an experience you had. Subbed for sure.
Just got off work a little late to the show but awesome video gentlemen keep em coming we luv these type of videos!!!
Great video, beautiful scenery!
Try sliced onion and sliced carrots sautéed with brown sugar and butter then pile them on top of a perfectly cooked steak
Heck yeah. Keep those kayak fishing trips going. Getting one for fall Chinook next week.
Gonna need to bring a crawdad trap next time you come to this lake. Have a real feast
First off, Idk how you going to the mountains helps you get away from the heat. I left Seattle yesterday and went up to Snoqualmie and it was 5° F hotter there on the river. Second, Elk are so amazing. Biggest ones I've seen so far were at Mt. Rainier. Hands down the largest animals o have ever seen outside of a zoo. The elk I saw on the north east part of Renton, and even the one heard I saw at Yellowstone don't compare to those ones. Last thing I gotta say is now I have a beer to hunt down sometime this week and try.
What a great fishy adventure especially with the crawfish. I’m waiting for a 2 or 3 day or maybe a week adventure.
Love the videos jordan, started with addicted to fishing, now im here! I wish my dogs were as chill as yours for camping and kayaking haha
the look on Little's face at 7:37 is priceless. "dads trying to catch a damn fish when i could be chewing on that damn elks leg for a week" roflmao
I'm stoked for the night fly fishing!!! So cool to have something totally new. Love these overnight camps too. Kayak camping... I'd fall in for sure. Lol
Pro fisherman and salad tosser? My man😎💪🏽🤙🏽
Loved this video! Definitely do more of these overnight survival things! How about a catfish video?
Definitely want to do a catfish video!
I’m always waiting for the “good cup of joe” line classic
killer video. thanks for taking us along jordan.
oh and the fans want to know how old Little is?
You should consider bringing a collapsible trap to set out on these overnight trips.
Great video, and LOVE your Old Town Sportsman series kayaks! 👍😎🎣🐟💦
That was a touch of paradise! Been thinking of kayak camping 1st time: this seals it! Definitely gonna go!
Sweet video. Dinner looked delicious. Fishing looked challenging. Crawdading looked fun. Definitely a breakfast of champions. Always enjoy the content. Looking forward to the next ones. Keep up the good work.
Man, watching your vids makes me miss Washington/PNW even more then I usually do. I can’t wait until the wife and I move back up there. I’m very surprised Little didn’t bark at the elk!
Always excited to see these uploads, keep it up & tight lines
Bro, Ive lived and worked in Yellowstone National Park for 10 yrs.
If you ever make it this way LMK.
Thanks for the fire content.
Look's good, I'd like to try craw dad's that way for sure!!😂😂Alway's good content!!
Yo that elk is built like a dump truck big booty! Awesome content 👍
Beautiful camp site! Great job!
I love watching your videos. You do a great job. Keep doing them
I just found this channel, Jordan and Leif are my favorite PNW guys
A bit of little's dog food would be good crayfish bait!looked like a great Place!
Looked like a fun adventure. Crawdad catching tip. Find a branch with a forked end and pin the crawdad to the ground first, then grab them. Because they are fast buggers. Look forward to your next adventure.
Love your videos !!! Keep making more videos !!
I don't know what to do with my hands!!! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂🤭🤭 Awesome video brother 👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸
Haha Jordan I seen grilled salads on a Gordon Ramsay show once, he was not amused but yours looked delicious! You should change his mind!
Loved seeing the crawdad boil and scramble. You need to get a trap. I picked up a collapsible one for pretty darned cheap on Amazon and then you can use fish guts for bait. Circle of life! Also, how did you dry your morels? I don't think I've seen you do that yet, and I just picked up my first foraging for mushrooms book and would love to hear/see how it's done.
They say the biggest browns feed at night, waiting for mice to fall into the water. I’ve had good luck using top water at night.
Jordan you should try out indicator fishing for lakes. It absolutely out fishes almost everything else. Even when they are feeding on the surface just drop a chironomid or nymph a foot under an indicator.
Watch some sport fishing on the fly episodes!
Can’t wait to get my little hoodie.
Watching your videos brings great peace to my day👍👌
These videos are one of my new favorites...keep it up dude
Great video Jordan. You're slaying it man
Just awesome!!! The food!!! The fishing! The kayaking! The Wildlife! The camping!! And the dog! Best video I’ve seen in a long time!
So stoked whenever I see a new vid. It really makes my stress melt away watching your vids Jordan. You teach me tons and you put me in a happy place. Thanks man.
Man you're seriously living your life. Bless
Great video, keep them coming.
Hey Jordan; 👍🤣 Wile-EE-Craw-Dad-Dee! 😘🦞🤭🤪😉✌😌
Jordan.. have you seen these floating tents they have. Look so fun kayak and floating tent camping. What's a more epic camping spot than the middle of lake?? Cool videos loving life.
I’m trying that crawdad recipe! So interesting!
I think often fish just tail slap a big fly, then circle to eat it after it's crippled, so don't jerk it out of the water on that first tail slap. Tie up some yellow hex.
Totally awesome!!! U lucky duck u......
Your always putting out awesome videos!
Another awesome video Jordan, love the elk sighting and more insight on fly fishing… thank you!
Jorden, I don't know how to say this without making it sound guy friendly, but brotha you inspire me to keep my hair long and growing for good cause just like you and even know were both loosening a little on top and thinning with a sunspot on the back we still walk with are pride and manliness looking Wild and looking good for the Ladys and thy Fishes lol HammerDown!! Brotha Get your Pull stay fishy!!!
Stopping by to leave you that comment. This is my first video of yours and it was EPIC. It’s hard to choose a point to begin. The ELK WOW definitely a rare moment to be a part of! Sorry the fishing didn’t turn out as hoped but you still cooked up a mean grilled Caesar which I will be gladly adding to my camping recipe list to try. I’m originally from a place where you catch blue crabs but I have never seen anyone catching crawdads with their hands. Now that I know it can be done I probably will risk the pinch to give it a shot! Seriously. It was all the little bits that made this video enjoyable. Oh and now I’m going to go watch the video where you collected the morels. Thanks again for sharing ✌🏼
Love watching your videos 🤗😍
