Thank you! I just got one of these a couple weeks ago. The belt doesn’t slip at all until I speed it up to about 3.6 or higher. I will definitely try this

Dude this just moves my belt, it doesn’t tighten it. You are doing the same thing as you did in the other video, but just the opposite direction.

That's what the manual says... they really need to write a better manual.

My treadmill makes an odd noise and goes a lot slower than it should. Only had it for 5 months or so. Tried most of the troubleshooting like cleaning the motor, relubing the belt, and adjusting the tightness but nothing seems to fix it

hi thank you for the video. what do you know about the treadmill fraying on the sides a bit as well as a weird “friction” noise when running

Hi and thanks for watching! I don't know for sure about the fraying of your treadmill belt, or the friction noise. Does your belt stay in the middle of the treadmill when you use it? Also have you lubricated your treadmill on schedule? I have a video on adjusting the belt, and lubricating the treadmill in my Xterra playlist if you are interested in watching. You can also contact Xterra directly and they can hopefully help further. Thanks again for watching.

Mine does the same thing. The belt moves to the left as I walk. Won't stay in middle and begins that frition noise. T try pushing it to the right with my feet as the belt moves. Works for a moment or so and slides back to the left.
