And the game is gonna create ways to kill you One wrong choice will doom you. Swap the wrong weapon, picked the wrong door... took a chance on a malignant item Don't be afraid to put the controller down sometimes. Bad runs compound... get some lunch, watch a show... come back in a hour. Your mental health will thank you.

Death is part of progression and it's so important to take a break from this game when things get rough. I think our instinct is to just try again but sometimes taking a breather is even more helpful than trying another run.

I bounced off this game hard when it first came out. I had a really difficult time with it. Ever since, I've had an itch to dive back in. Last night I downloaded it and this morning your video showed up in my feed. The universe has spoken and I will answer the call 😅
Great narration too by the way. A few other videos I've watched speed through the information, which makes it way too difficult to digest as a viewer. I appreciate your calm, deliberate reading of the script. Great video!

The platinum edition should be pretty cheap. Get the one that has the tower dlc... it's like 2 games in one. Story mode and arcade (95% combat, 5% story) mode.

I know there are ones that are super hard to come across so I just decided to not bother going out of my way for them. Regardless, the game absolutely consumed me and I've had enough of a break from it. It's tipe for a replay
@@akramrabaa943 A lot (*lot*) of runs. I think there was one parasite log that they patched to make more common but a few of them were pretty tough to track down. Could also be just superstition but I've un- and reinstalled the game a few times and it seems like missing cyphers and logs pop up more frequently after a reinstall. Either way, I hope you enjoy your trip back through the game! IMO the hardest part is hitting later biomes without many weapon traits if you play too good from the get go.

I think dead cells More simple than returnal But maybe because it's the first time I've seen this game
Dead Cells is definitely less complicated than Returnal. I think that's part of why Returnal has such a steep learning curve.
