You literally jumped over the part I needed. I got the belt off no problem. How do you keep the pump from turning after the belt is off to take those 4 screw off for the idler cover on the water pump?
So I put a little very fine skim of black weatherstripping cement (glue) to hold the gasket in place so it won’t move on me while installing the pump. 😎 thanks
So…. Reading through some of these comments it seems that some of these commenters shouldn’t even try to put air in their tires let alone do a simple job like this.
I’ll be using this to replace my water pump tomorrow.
simply excellent step by step video on the subject. Many thanks!

You can use a flat pry bar or screw driver to go between two bolts crack the bolts loose then take them off. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 👍
also you could have left the bolts on the pulley before you took the belt off
What you mean by glue it on it,what glue?

How show the location of the Expansion freeze plug on this model truck
I actually have the truck back here for something else I’ll check for you
Can’t find a single video of the location of the expansion frezzze plug for this model
So I checked again there are no Freeze plugs as far as I could see like the OG cars had freeze plugs
Good video. Thanks
Thanks for watching ..appreciate it
Hopefully this dude didn't quit his daytime job.
He's all over place. No size of socket and bad camera.
This video skipped many steps that I wanted to see such as how much torque for water pump screws which is extremely important.
Sorry about that I had most of the work done before videoing
Good
