Thanks for sharing. Seeing this on my 2014 Toyota tundra. I like the truck. Went to linex and they said go to an autobody and place to get the rust cut out. I did go to an auto body place but they said that they are unsure how to make it look the same. My question is should I just start cleaning it up myself or continue down the path to seeing if an auto body shop could perform the work for me? I do not have the tools nor the time to do the repair.

Better be glad there wasn't a large hole in there. Not real smart.

Thanks for your video help, but my van has a passenger front door (not the slider) which is closed and won't open. Your video is the closest I've gotten to finding out how to remove the door panel, but I have to do that with the door closed. Happy times ahead! I think I have to remove the passenger front seat to have room to work, and am not even sure it will come apart with the door closed.

Hey how you doing buddy I haven't seen any racing in a while from you obviously I didn't put them coil overs in for right now I told you I got them Nikki Bobby brackets for the for the Link bar since the Calvert one only has one adjustable in the in the Nikki body one has four will Calvert has two eyeletes what in front of the axle one behind well mustangs go in the front so I cut the eyelid off the back and put it and welded it to the Nikki Bobby bracket while I'm saving up to buy shocks for the mustang I bought a pair of sliders I'm going to put them on but I haven't seen you guys racing how's your son's falcon coming anyway I didn't want to call you I figured I'd be inappropriate since I wasn't asking you any questions I was just talking anyway I hope you hope to see you guys out there drag racing soon

Make sure you guys wear a welding helmet. This guy did an awesome job welding up this frame. But he was not wearing a welding helmet 😂 good way to burn your eyes out lol.

This fella welds with no eye protection or gloves. Someday I will be a badass like him.

Nice brake. You're making me jealous 😂 I've fixed 4 tundras including my own. But the few customers I've done only had to repair the front of the frame where the sway bar is mounted, surprisingly the rest was still good for being in Pennsylvania

Update 10 months later lol, so the issue on why my car wasn't reading the speed because the tone ring on the axle and sensor is what determines the speed and send the signal to the cluster so mine was grinded down just like in this video so what i did was replace the axles and cleaned up where the axles goes and took out the liner that goes around it and my issue was solved. Thanks again for making the video and really helped me with fixing my car because i was unsure if it was the axles or speed sensors on the transmission but thanks

How many hours would you say it took you to make everything from start to finish? I have a Wilwood kit, and have the same problem.

Very therapeutic and easy to watch a guy work the grinder - not so much when doing it yourself lol. Great job restoring that frame, I made sure to let all the commercials entirely.
