I loveeeee that you're representing 4c hair at graduation!! I graduated this past weekend with a B.S. in Public Health, I've been a fan of you for a while now and so proud of you! CONGRATS!!! #Classof2017 #LongTimeFan #SnapchatGang ❤❤❤❤
You are my hero!!! I have biracial twin boys with big, beautiful, natural hair. They/we were stressing over this. Your solution is so simple and easy. I can't wait to get started. Thank you!!!
I love how much detail you put into this tutorial. The grad cap struggle is real, but you make it so easy. I hope more young black girls are inspired to wear their hair out.
very clever!..didn't wear it natural back when i was in school *but* ...i'll be able to impress some of my little cousins when *their* 🎓🎓 day comes along - and maybe save the day for a few other people as well!..betting you'll get tons of views for this one...and again, congratulations!!..on *your* graduation!! 👍👍👍👍
"You can now graduate in peace 😌" indeed!! Many thanks because i was really fighting the air because of how bad the graduation cap fucked up my hair!! 😂😂 UPDATE: This method works like a charm. All you really need is scotch tape. Just make sure you use enough to make the headband secure. Also, make sure the pieces you use are short enough so that you can't see it when you look at yourself in the mirror 😁
God bless!!! Thank you so much for making this video, I'm literally graduating today in like, a couple of hours and this literally saved my life. As much as I love my 4c hair, the struggle was real 😂
I'm graduating with my masters on Wednesday the 31st and I was wondering what the hell I was going to do with all of my natural hair. I didn't even think of this. Thank you so much for this hack. I'm going out and buying a headband tomorrow lmao. xD Congratulations!! =D!!
You are a life saver! I'm graduating with college in May and my mom suggested I straight my hair for the first time or get a wig. I'm not quite ready to straight my hair yet, and I wanted to look back at the pictures in the future and see my own hair, but I didn't know how I could get the cap on!
When they took photos of us in a mock gown and cap, the photographer pushed all my curls back in the front so I looked like a bald headed baby with all my curls coming out of the side of my head. Thank you for this so I don't look like that during graduation 😭
Your hair is beautiful,I love it, there are so many blacks that hate themselves and their hair but you are not like that so i salute to you for loving yourself, keep up the good work and continue loving yourself, have a wonderful day, and god bless you.
Omg! Thank you I have locs and a big head. I graduate next year and I was so worried I won't be able to fit my cap. I wanted to remedy this before purchasing one.
Thanks so much, this helped out big time. You wouldn't believe how many stores were sold out of black headbands right when I needed to buy one the most.
I'm graduating next week and following this same tips! I can't believe in 2022 universities and event organizers still offer zero alternatives for students with natural afro hair
I’m gonna try this with my dreads for graduation photos next week! I was so worried because the cap didn’t fit and the people I received my cap and gown from suggested I cut my dreads. I’m glad I found this😭
Cheii... I was having a tantrum this morning when I got my graduation cap cause I knew it wouldn't fit. Thanks for the tip!!!! Definitely going to get me a headband TOMORROW!!
Thank you I'm so happy to have watched this video! I am graduating in June with my Masters in Social Work and I have been searching for how my cap will stay on my hair with a twist out! Thanks! And congrats! Class of 2017! 🎉🎊👩🏾🎓
THIS IS GENIUS!!! I graduate High school today and I've been worrying about how the he'll imma put the cap (we don't have to do but I just want to take some pictures with it)
I'm glad I have this hack because my graduation is Friday and I really didn't know what to do with my hair. Also Congrats on graduating from college!!❤
Omg...I am graduating with my master's in August and I wanted to wear my hair in its natural state but had no idea how to put my cap over my big hair. Thanks a lot🤗
I'm going to be graduating from high school may 26 so I'm sooooo happy I found this video when I did. I was so worried as to what to do with my hair since I wanted to go natural so THANK YOU 💖💖💖
Girlll!! You helped me so much with this tip thank God you did this because girlll I looked stunning with my fro THANK YOU SO MUCH AND ALSO GOD TOO AHHH THANK YOU ♥️♥️♥️♥️
this is such a great idea! I wish I had thought to do something like this when I graduated. My head is rather large (in my opinion) and I had a heck of a time getting my cap to stay on. There were so many bobby pins in my hair that it was stuck when we all threw our caps.
Girl are you graduating from Albany? I saw this vid via buzzfeed and I was like hmmmm that hallway looks really familiar! Lolol brought back some memories!
Lol I've been worrying about how imma get my grad cap on my head all week and last week 😅
