108° but I see you had your AC on! 😊 Just finished installing my Mangoal front and rear cameras. Definitely not having much luck with the Skycam app! Keeps dumping the WiFi after it connects! Good to know there’s another app and I may have to try that! I ran power wires to the passenger side fuse box to get ACC and Bat power for parking! Used fuse taps and worked pretty well. There’s not a lot of sources for ACC power! Lots of Bat. Now just trying to get it online with my iPhone! Took awhile to get the housing to snap on good! Thanks for the video! I’m in Alaska! 🥶
sorry for all the questions, does the power method you used provide the "parking monitor" mode? or would the obd port power method be needed for that feature to work?
Based on my research, parking mode is only available when using the OBDII port for power, but I cannot specifically confirm that myself. I also cannot confirm that parking mode is available on all camera models. I know parking mode is important for a lot of people, but that wasn’t something that was a deal breaker for me when looking for a dash cam.
@@SouthpawGarage ok, yea now that i think about it, parking mode would be a battery drainer and a SD card hog. Unless it only recorded when it sensed movement, which their site does not specify.
how many hours of video does it hold? and what happens when the limit is reached? Does it automatically purge older videos to make room for new videos or does it just stop recording until you go in and purge old video yourself. Is there a way to set it to 1080p or 720p to allow for more recording time? Thanks
I’m not sure on the hours of video that can be stored. The camera uses a 128GB SD card for video storage. When the storage fills it automatically starts replacing the oldest videos in storage with new footage. The app does have a setting for changing the recording resolution between 4K, 2K, and FHD (1080p)
My apologies. I forgot to add it to the video description when I published the video. I just added it so you should now see it in the video description.
Yeah, I've been looking for a dash cam for a while now, I love how discrete that is.
Need them to make it for my car!

I’m glad you found the video helpful! I definitely recommend trying the Viidure app. It’s worked 100% of the time for me.

Where is the dash cam link?
