Its called “having fun”. It was just a video that we were having fun with. We aren’t trying to be “actors”. And for the torx screw, you are correct. That’s why the video displays the word “*Torx” when I’m talking to show that I misspoke when we recorded the video.

Honestly it’s been so long since we did that part, I don’t really remember. You should be able to use any right angle fittings as long as the connectors are the right size for the vintage air box that you have.

It will not work in the refreshed Silverados with the updated interior and full digital dash. If your truck has the dash with analog gauges, it should work.

@@SouthpawGarage any led does work properly, but the resistance is too low, so it hyperflashes/has a bulb out warning, the load resistor tricks the ecu into thinking the bulb is good and means no error messages or codes on the dash

If it’s hyper flashing then it isn’t working properly. The bulb should be designed to include the load equalizer instead of me having to add one on the turn signal wire. If you’re going to manufacture LED bulbs to replace incandescent, make sure they work properly.

@@SouthpawGarage just bought and installed them, and with the factory incandescents it works perfectly fine. as soon as i added an led bulb it hyperflashed, turns out you DO need to add a resistor if you go with a NON canbus ready led bulb, and sadly the ones i added were 3156A sylvania zevo led bulbs, so i will need to add a resistor to get them to work properly with those leds.

@@shadowcat4963the sylvania zevo is a great option for as a setted and forgetted led bulbs. Yeah they do hyperflash because they’re no canbus, there’s no resistors, and with 3157, it only draws 2W. The two sided led bulbs is a buy and try and check ur optic lens of ur turn signal application. And make sure it has advantage to use the reflectors well.

This video shows me taking off the factory Silverado exhaust and replacing it with the Rough Country exhaust kit. The sound comparison segment shows which exhaust is which.

Tube of glue, for what? The floor mats? I guess if that’s the solution you want to use, then go for it, but I’d rather just have a nicer set of floor mats.

Did you have the cluster programmed to your truck before doing the install? I ordered the cluster from a company that programs them to your vehicle’s specific VIN.

I’m not sure. I don’t know if the infotainment module connections are the same or if they changed between generations.

My bed cover has stayed in great shape. It’s possible the previous owner was constantly stacking items on top of the cover that rubbed the coating down over time. As for leaking, no retractable cover is going to be 100% water proof. My Peragon is just as affective as other retractable covers that I have tried.

@@SouthpawGarage I think the paint has rubbed off from him riding around with it open and the panels move around against each other. Just dont like it but its a good looking cover when new I suppose.

I’d recommend contacting the company for the light and see if they have any suggestions of what might cause the cargo light to not work.

I used a ratchet and socket for everything.

Did you check the settings in the cluster to see if the speed limit sign is active? The speed limit sign can be turned on and off. I ended up turning it off after a few days.

There should just be plastic grommets filling the holes in the bed of the truck. Unless someone sprayed the bed liner over them. That happened in my previous truck… the company that did the bed liner left the plastic grommets in and sprayed over them so I couldn’t get them out to use the holes in the bed. Other than that, I’m not sure what would be the reason you don’t see/have the holes,

No. These are offset wheels. I do not have wheel spacers on the truck.

I literally state in the video which wire goes to the positive battery and which one goes to negative battery for ground. But nah, go ahead and complain about not having every last detail spoon fed to you like a child.

There is a little bit of drone if you are driving with the radio completely off, but any type of music drowns it out easily. I have absolutely no complaints about this exhaust.

I’m not entirely sure about going from a jump seat to a console. I know there’s a small harness in the console even without the wireless charger that acts as the sensor for your key fob if the fob’s battery goes bad so your truck will still crank until you can replace the battery. But I would assume that is included in the center console you found. If you aren’t going to be using wireless charging, you shouldn’t need the harness that I added in this video.

The housing broke. The clear plastic was broken on the front of the housing.

It does leak on the corners, but I used to have a Roll N Lock cover and this doesn’t leak any more than that did. Each person may have a different experience depending on the install (is everything lined up exactly right, are the rails even on both sides, etc) and the tailgate sealing kit is extremely helpful with minimizing the amount of water that gets in the bed when it rains. The main thing I’ve noticed is that, because this does an accordion fold into the front of the bed, if there is a lot of water on top of the bed cover and you go to open it, most of the water will then run into the bed as the panels are folded together.

No welding necessary.

Yes. The kit is set up to use the existing hangers from the factory exhaust

Yes. That’s exactly what they are. You caught me. I put minivan tires on my truck. You’re so funny.

I guess “technically” if you had a wide enough and strong enough clamp, you “could”. But when you are connecting exhaust pipes together you want one pipe to slide over the end of the pipe that it is connecting to and then clamp that down to seal up both pipes and hold them together. When cutting pipe, you don’t have one end that will slide over the other because both ends of the pipe that you cut are the same size. That means the connection point will not only be weak even with an extra wide clamp, but will also be a point where you will likely have an exhaust leak.

The newer version of the bed cover doesn’t require pushing down to open it. I have a new video going up soon for the updated version.

There are similar options on Amazon and other places.

Because my sister damaged her headlight housing. The plastic on the front was busted, so the whole thing had to be replaced.

The brackets do take up space in the bed. When packing the bed, items must be placed around the brackets (between them or to the outside) unless they are short enough to slide under them.
