Yum ! I coat my roast with mustard then add these spices too an no water or broth because it makes it’s own. The mustard taste goes away and just helps for a nice crust on it and keeps the seasonings on. So good !
Hey Kathy sorry to hear. No we usually don't for slow cooker. How did yours end up coming out? Depending on how fatty your chuck roast is you may have to cook it longer or slower. Did you cook it from frozen?
@@AliceCeeCPA A slight difference. I rarely ate almonds, kale, beets or spinach... all high in oxalates. But if there is a good substitute I figured switching won't hurt. Thank you for educating the public.
I’ve been doing this in my instant pot on slow cooker option but it does tend to come out dry in places. I’m going to pull out my slow cooker and give it a try! Thank you!!
