The Lebert Fitness Equalizer Dip Bars are the best dip bar station I have ever used. During my workout this morning, I went too far on a knee raise, thought I was going to fall over, but the bars held in place! Check them out here: amzn.to/2IX0WVh
Definitely a great possibility, but I have no desire to do resistance training outdoors (especially if it rains or snows). If you want to do it go for it :)
Nice review man the equalizers are amazing for learning calisthenics. I have the regular yellow bars for many years now and they are still in great condition. Highly recommended !
GamerBody Yeah man im 510” and im oke with the regular bars but my taller friend struggled a littlebit with my bars 😂 So i recommend erveryone taller dan 510” to buy the XL version. Cheers mate!
Hi thanks for your videos and I agree with some of the pros and cons points you made. I just got mine as a Christmas gift and they were around $70. I was surprised at the quality of the bars. They are sturdier than I thought they would be.
Hmm you could use just the standard ones at 5'5". Just need to bend knees like any normal dip. Also those will work better for you if you do inverted rows or tricep extensions.
The more vertical you are in the dip the more triceps are activated. You can almost make it a push-up if you lean over the bars more. You can also feel the change from triceps to chest as you lean forward.
Yup, I personally recommend the XL for just about anyone. They do have a sizing chart, but I've used the regular before and it seems small even for someone who falls into the range listed on Amazon. Id go XL
Great vid Derek? Sorry if I spelled that wrong, I skimmed over your channel real quick and definitely glad I found yours as I noticed you've also reviewed multiple pull up bars as well as other equipment. Most youtubers would normally just review one and move on. Anyways great vid and got yourself a new subscriber. Have a good one Also thoughts on the megabar as of now? I'll be needing to replace my old regular pull up bar.....
Thanks for watching! I have thad the Mega Bar in quite some time now. I personally would not get it unless they have made updates (which is certainly possible). I may go and review it again to see if anything has changed in the design.
@@GamerBody Thanks for the response! I just watched your vid and I agree I'll wait as well, I'll watch your other vids of the other pull up bars you've reviewed but so far right now what's your go to? I pretty much have a basic Walmart bought pull up bar which is definitely showing some wear and tear especially noticing the bar slightly bent 🤦
@@Poeticbladezero Here is a review on the one I am using today and it is my all-time favorite doorway pull-up bar ua-cam.com/video/54OBKr1x7R8/v-deo.html
@@GamerBody Thanks again, last question, if I'm performing a chest exercise with the dip bars, should I turn them in a v shape like stationary dip? I've been just using them in a straight normal way but I've been watching other vids where they've mentioned it may be easier to turn them in a v shape closer to how the body is... again thank you and sorry for the noob questions :/
I think that is a minimal change if anything. Maybe they are trying to hit more of the chest? I personally just use normal straight dips as I find them to work for my tricep development quite well
Depends what you are doing with them. If you are just doing dips in a controlled manner, no problem. If you are swinging on them or doing a strange exercise like that, it may be dangerous on any dip bar station you buy. On my wood floor they don't move at all once I put them in place and do exercises such as dips, bodyweight rows, and tricep extensions. They are very good at staying in place and not wobbling. Just don't be flinging yourself around on them or they could dip over.
Another question about this one, can u change the length of it, so make the bars come close when need to? I can see that u can move it around, but let’s u do make it come closer, would it have a awkward grip on it though? Or would it be fine? Like for dips
There are 2 bolts that attach the feet to the legs of the dip bars. I think you could change it so it was up one higher, but you'd lose the strength of the bars overall. The XL is built for anyone at 6'1" to use (you could get away with being about 6'3" or. If you are taller than that I'd look for another option. The regulars are too small for me at 5'11". They are both independent pieces so you can set as close or far apart as possible. I hope this helps.
Yeah it will be fine. You could even get the regular size and the reason I'd lean that way is if you decide to do inverted rows, you will be more parallel to the ground for more resistance with just bodyweight.
Looks incredibly stable! What’s your inseam, bc at 5’11, your knees are almost touching the floor at the bottom of the exercise, and this is rated for 6’1?
Yeah, the website and Amazon rate it for someone 6'1" or taller. Yes, if I go full range of motion and don't tuck my knees they will just barely touch the floor. If I just do to 90 degrees I still have some room though. I've actually started tucking my knees up for a little more weight up by my chest and then all problems are gone. However, if you are really tall (like more than 6'3") I could see the height being an issue.
@@GamerBody ..I just purchased the very set you use in your review, based largely on your recommendation. They’re coming in on Wednesday. Thanks so much for your review! I can’t wait to try them out!
@@GamerBody okay, thanks a lot; and yeah I'm in the clear as well! 😊 I will be getting this product soon! Are they staying holding up strong after all this time of use?
The Lebert Fitness Equalizer XL will work for anyone taller than 6'1" according to their page. You will need to raise your knees up a little bit but you can do it. Love the grind! ❤
I am about 5 ft 10, do you think I need to get the XL version or the regular one is fine?
I'd get XL. You are only 1 inch shorter than me.
What material is the pipe made of, and what is its diameter? Is it iron or aluminum or duralumin or something?
On Google it says Iron for the paralettes which I think are made of the same thing. Might be a good question to as the Lebert support team.
Thanks for the video bro I was considering buying these and I think you made the case thanks for posting
What's the difference between chest dip and a tricep dip? They look identical.
The more vertical you are in the dip the more triceps are activated. You can almost make it a push-up if you lean over the bars more. You can also feel the change from triceps to chest as you lean forward.
Great review, lots of insight. I'm 5'7" and like the black XL look. In your opinion, would that be too tall to work with for my height? Thanks.
I think you will be fine with the XL black. It may even be better for full range of motion dips.
@@GamerBody Hey! Thanks for that review! in addition to @Rick Ramsey question, how about inverted rows? will the XL be suitable as well or too high?
Works well for me with the XL for inverted rows. I'm 5'11" so take that into account.

Which company sells this twin? And how much does it cost approximately?
Not sure about a twin. This one costs around $120 USD but it is the signature edition. I think the base one (black) is around $110.
