Since my new dip station has arrived some days ago I like to include your exercises in my routine. For that I made some time stamps for me. Push 0:19 #1 - Support Hold; at least 15 - 20 Sec 0:55 #2 - Dip Negative; 1:14 #3 - Dips; 15 - 20 rep for endurance or with weighted backpack under 8 for strength 1:46 #4 - Deep Push-ups; Core 2:30 #5 - Knee Raises; 3:09 #6 - Leg Raises 3:36 #7 - Tucked Support Hold; try to hold for 15 sec 3:55 #8 - L-Sit Bicycles; 4:17 #9 - L-Sit Hold Push-Core 4:38 #10 - Dip to L-Sit Pull 5:08 #11 - Bodyweight Rows; 9 or 10 with legs on the ground before trying 5:43 #12 - Tucked Front Lever; once you can hold for 10 or 15 sec 6:04 #13 - Tucked Lever Pull-ups 6:30 #14 - Inverted Hang Legs 7:09 #15 - Assisted Pistol Squats All exercises are progressive.
I got a dip station a couple months ago and have been doing a version of the your 4 part beginner pretty consistently for the last 6 weeks. After literally never being able to do a pull in my life, now at 35 years old, can now do 5 pull ups or chin ups with good form. Great videos and thanks for all the motivation.
How have you found doing pull ups on a dip station? Are you able to get a decent ROM as I'm looking into doing them on a dip station with legs up rather than attaching a pull bar to the walls?
Although not a complete beginner myself, I really appreciate that you start at the very, very basics for people who may have little to no strength to start these exercises in their full form. Fitness is for everybody!!
@@oldnatty61 That would be great. But people like me and a lot of other viewers don't have the space to house those things. This otoh can be easily taken apart and stored under the bed.
phyoonz- Then you should get a door way pull-up bar and a suspension trainer. Takes less space then the device in question, allows for all the exercise in the vid, plus many more.
@@oldnatty61 yes, you're right. That would be the best move for most people. None of my apt doors are strong enough. I've tried countless kinds. And I don't want to drill holes into the landlord's property.
Then checkout the Stamina Power Tower 1690 at amazon. I got mine for $80 a few years back over the xmas holidays when they were battling w/ sears. It really doesn't take up any more floor space then the dip unit, but gives you so much more.
Really useful vid. Thanks - just got a dip station this week, and I'm new to calisthenics (I'm an old guy too) so the progressive steps are really, really helpful. You're doing a great job with your channel.
@@MinusTheGym Do you get a % of the item price off amazon? The dip station in your link is not available. What do you think about the amazon(my main concern is I'm not sure if it comes apart for easy storage after each workout ) branded one? How can i buy it so you get a commission? Thanks.
Hi, I just wanted to thank you for your great work. For me, as total beginner, your exercise videos with progression is the best tool for raising motivation and lowering frustration. You are the best UT workout instructor I found - nice, understandable, simple, effective.
Just got my dip bars a few months ago, and will definitely be incorporating these core exercises into my routine! That last L sit with the full dip is my goal!
I’m doing physical therapy since my car accident and I just bought a dip station. These exercises will help me so much. I actually want to push myself so I’ve bought everything the therapist have used so far, stability ball and bands etc.. I’m definitely going to build up to the more advanced moves. I have been lifting myself up with this dip station and I don’t plan on slowing down at all. Thanks you so much for this video. Saved!

I got my dip station yesterday. Thanks for this video. I am super excited to try these out and to see what level I'm at. I tried the l-sit right away, and I'm not there, but I can hold myself up and lift my knees, so I'll work on that.

RESPECT! The strength it takes to do some of these exercises is impressive! Much respect, and thanks for the tips.
I don’t think that equipment was designed for inclined pushups. Putting too much force might bend it. Careful
i agree. But if you noticed, he kept his weight towards the end as to keep it from bend it.
is sb is 200kg, yes
Amazing stuff, great video without any nonsense. Just ordered myself those and let's do it. Gonna quit gym as I don't have as much time and that will keep me going 💪
