yeah my OTS wasn’t a good experience I had nothing but issues so i’ll need a pro tune on it so just got to wait till I have more goodies than a intake 😂
the issue isnt your OTS tune, its your intake. the stock intake is superior to 90 percent of them, and if its a big SF, they are incredibly problematic. even if you get pro-tuned with a big SF you will still run into knock issues and DAM drop as the engine shifts around on its soft mounts, the alignment of the air filter is critical, yet cobb failed to realize thats pretty much impossible to accomplish with the car actually moving around and driving.
go back to stock intake with a grimspeed drop in filter. you will still be able to hear your bypass valve and induction noises. and your DAM will come back up. just make sure you reflash to a regular stage 1 tune and not the stage 1 plus, even better go pay drunkmann 150 bucks for a custom tailored stage 1 tune. car will run like butter. @@davidmontez1665
Hi, the previous owner should have unmarried the accessport from the ECU, meaning they removed any tunes and uninstalled it from the car. By any chance do you know if they did that? If they did, you should be good but it can be very bad if they didn’t. Let me know, I’m hoping for the best and congrats on the new purchase if all is good!

Understandable! Yeah ideally I’d get pro tune too but so far I’ve survived, just want to get my parts too to make a pro tune worth 😂😅

I just bought a used 2015 suburu. If i wanted to go abt a tune how would i do it if the previous owner had an access port
