We are on holiday up here at the moment staying not far from Driffield went past the auction centre on way to Thirsk, tried to swing in but the wife was having none of it 😅, did manage to go to the farming museum yesterday though 🙂
Hi Joe have you thought of a dual chop teagle. We use them for bedding then put the knives in and then chop the straw for feeding dry cows and young stock mix. Works really well
Yeah only thing is don’t think it’s an option on the 9500?? 🤷
Why do you need the 9500 model? The 8550 handles hestons. We actually use bales from a krone big pack as you get as much straw in as a heston. The straw we use for feeding is pre chopped through the baler which helps massively

Yes, it’s 2-6mm golden gravel from our local quarry. I’ve delivered a vast amount of it to Yorkshire wildlife park for all their new paths.
Great walk round York auction new Holland telehandler were made by manitou at that time only for some daft reason the headstock was different to manitou good video Joe 👍

The Ford looks like a 8730 which is an updated tw25 and New Holland use to use Manitou to make their forklifts.
The big Richard Weston muck spreader 8.39 minutes in was ours from work done many of hours on that beast
How many cube is it? Think ours are a 10 or 12 and that is much bigger!

As a non farmer it strikes me that if you gear your tackle to what you can pull when your land is most awkward then you will do it with ease when land is easy. So presumably you gain on speed and consumption when land is fair but you can manage the land when foul.

That jd 2040 had the xe cab on it,its almost the same as the sg2, but has a yellow roof,also the gear sticks are on the floor, in the bloody way😂

Ford 8730 is updated Ford TW 25 I think
Tw 15,25,35, became the 86,87,8830,s. They went from manual gearbox to the power shift. They also had a slightly different colour scheme
