Thanks for filming the collection Gerry. It was great to watch 👍
Yes Gerry an incredible collection and a credit to the owner. I'm sure he will have a few tears to see them go, no matter how much money they make.

@@gerry6420 Aw
That is a collection and a half, loved the comment on the baler breaking your heart, we have all had a piece of machinery like that :-)
Can't imagine scraping out the cattle with any of those wee Massey 35s, too good to be driving into the dunkill (dung hill) at full pelt.
Great video Gerry.
Thats a fantastic collection. Hope the auction goes well for Aidan. He's a gentleman.
He is indeed.
Good man Gerry, you have a wee glint in your eye talking about the 148 massey 😉 if you're bidding the very best of luck with it.
I'd love that 135 myself, with the 4 wheel drive. Very different.
I spent my summer holidays as a young fella driving my uncles 135,the man unfortunately is no longer with us.
Thanks for the walk around Gerry.
What an incredible collection
G’man Gerry thats an unbelievable collection 😮
I learned to drive on a 1966 MF135. Happy days.
I am a David Brown fan but all of the tractors in that collection are superb. Good video.
Love the 135 4wd
Was unreal… made 31k
Some incredible machines there indeed. My picks, the 148 multi power, that superb mint 5000 and the Nash 475 hooked on to the baler. All stunning. A credit to Mr Strain.

Cracking video Gerry. Some fine machine’s there. It’s a credit to the guy. There in mint condition
Christ, I’m surprised the lad had time to farm restoring all them!😳. Would be an interesting one to see what prices they fetch 👍
Great browns👍👍
Yea some lovley examples
What a set of tractors, credit to the owner, international user myself,I think some of those tractors will outlast the newer models on the market now!
A fantastic collection of what I call Real Tractors! I can say that I have owned a few of them I'm a Massey man at heart, I have had 2,one with the shell rear fenders, and the other was a ex council with the Duncan cab and a front loader with the spring on the bucket! the 3rd one is a Dexter with the rollbar I used her for pasture topping, Thanks for the video, class
I'm in Massachusetts, USA.. that's a good collection!
Some nice tractors there! 👍
Totally awesome collection.. if only I’d won the lottery…💕135…135 industrial (yellow)..
Be nice 😂👌
Unbelievable collection.
really enjoyed that video, would love to have the DB 1212!!
Great collection Gerry seen it on Facebook
Agree with you on the International B47 baler. Baled with one as young lad in the early 70s. Knotter was a nightmare. The stationary knives were impossible to setup right. Of course we had no operators manual, and back then we had no Internet, UA-cam guidance videos, or smart phones with 4K cameras with super slo-mo to figure out what was going wrong either.
We had a B 47 as well back in the days, it was bought new from Lockes of Portadown, it broke our heart with the knotters until we changed her to the replaceable razor blade knives, hardly missed a bale since that day onwards until we sold it to a young lad from Loughgall. Jones 12T would be my favourite square baler that we still use every year now.
@@madeljacky the international was a lovely baler and left a perfect bale, same size every time. We had two of them in the day and you would only get off the tractor to put put on more twine.
Sorry I mean the Jones.
@@madeljacky We tried the razor blade knives too. They were an improvement but still not great in our experience.
Unbelievable collection😯👌
What a brilliant video Gerry and something different unbelievable collection credit to the owner definitely not something you get to see everyday 💪👌👍
Thats for sure.
Great Video Gerry. Great selection of tractors. All workhorses in their day.
Wow thata a nice collection someone going to be heartbroken letting them go 🥰
Thanks for showing 👍👍
Hi Gerry, great collection there! I might be wrong but I got the impression that you may not have the fondest memories of your B47 baler 😂
That’s impression would be spot on 😂
Great video Gerry a few nice David Browns there and the Leyland 262
Brillant videos gerry all legends of tractors
Yea something for everyone
The first tractor i was on as a child was a mf 20 d
my late father would of been in his element here lol, massive mccormick fan,i.learned to drive on a b414,always have a soft spot for them
very good video
Good walk round Gerry 👍 that is one amazin collection o tractors for sale 🤔. Have too say for me the Internationals stole the show in particular the 4WD B450 💪 be interestin to hear the prices which im sure will definitely not be any cheap buys 😂👍
Thanks for sharing Gerry 👍An incredible collection of tractors, well presented...... but you can't eat them! They'll presumably make a nice retirement pension for the seller and make great purchases for potential buyers.
Looking at the masseys..... was the yellow industrial mf135 badged as a mf135 from the factory? Also l think they had a different front grille emblem. I could well be wrong.
The 188 canvas cab is an aftermarket one piece. On the original scirocco flexicab the top and the side panels over the mudguards were separate.
I'm being very picky. And in truth probably a bit jealous!!!! I'd happily have any of those tractors parked I'm my shed and be very proud of them!!!
The auction will no doubt receive great interest from at home and aboard.
Best of luck to all concerned👍👍👍
Good stuff Gerry, I spotted you out with the GoPro that day. I put together a video of on my page from a few weeks previous as well. I'd say a David Brown or two made its way down the road to you on Saturday

@@philipjmcloughlin2299
Thanks Philipj
When is that on
my father would not drive anything else than the david browns for all work , i used 2 drive a massey 135 nice tractor but i found out there only 3 wheel drive by old massey machanic ,but id still buy one again
Well Gerry, could you send me air or post code of were it on
I cut my teeth on a Massey 35X with Multipower. Nobody liked them back then, but ours was a super tractor. The one in that collection made over £12k 😳
Hook that 1212 into my veins 😀
How can we buy these Massy tractors
Does anyone have an estimate of how much that collection might be worth?
The results have been posted. I don’t know about the final complete figure but lots of those tractors made serious money.
Ok
What a great collection in beautiful condition. I would love to own the Ford 5000, 7000 and that International 475.
Holy Shep !! There's some pile of time and money gone into that collection, I remember when I was a young lad living in Tipperary near the Bord na Mona briquette factory down there, they used to purchase tractors like they were nothing.. I've seen countless just abandoned in the bog, They did dogs work pulling big harrows across the peat and some of them must have just blown a block working so hard on the peat that they just left them where they were.. I remember well sitting up on an abandoned Ford 5000 with terra tyres, heather and young ash saplings just growing around it.. What there worth now !!!
There was a couple of American built John deere 4055's which were very rare in this country too..
Yes, at Bord na monas auctions last year.. it was a total disgrace the condition everything was in.
Is that michael hoey collection???
Is it Aidan strain's ?
Aidan strains
how much is the price for 135 m f.
Think it made about £32k
