I want the 14th doctor to be a dark, damaged, much more ruthless and intelligent doctor.
More dangerous and angry than 9.
More cunning and mind breaking than 7.
Smarter than 11.
Colder than 12.
And still show undying love and gentleness to his or her companions.
So 12s evil twin ? Or just twelve in his first few episodes
I want the 14th doctor to be ginger
You want the Valyard.
Maybe one day the Doctor might become that again. All we can do is wait until the stars align just right.
But that's just it. No matter how Dark we want him to be, his companions will always be there to pull him back into the light. Although I would love to see the Doctor like that too, it just takes me back to "Turn Left"
The doctor is a perfect representation of what happens when a good man lives too long. His lines start to blur, and he's constantly trying to keep up with it. He does things people will never understand, he has regrets others will never grasp, and he's capable of things that make entire armadas turn tail and run.
Either die the hero... or live long enough to become the villain. Am I right?
@@TheFlyingSailorYT I don't think its that. I think he's pushed to the choice and so when he do make the choice there isn't another one.
I love it when doctor who videos bring in the old doctors too. People forget that they started the franchise
They're most of the series. Just because they aren't on TV doesn't make them useless.
The main reason is ratio, not the fans forgetting about Classic Who.
That's so very true. When I was little and living in Fort Worth I would watch classic Doctor Who on the BBC. I actually went too convention and meet the 3rd Doctor and got too see Betsy and a few of the alien costumes! That was such a blast!!!
The Doctor is such a complex character, there is so many layers to him, when I watch these videos I am constantly learning new things about him. He feels like a representation of all humanity in one person, trying to do his best. This was amazing, thank you

Wow, this is captivating. Considering how much power the Doctor has, how long he's lived and how many deaths he's witnessed and losses he's lived through, it really is quite impressive that he has remained as 'good' as he is. But he does understandably have a dark side, and this video has captured it perfectly.

I love the way you use the quote from 13 about the witch trials to describe the Doctor.
13 doesn't have have half of the emotional depth and writing as any of the past Doctors have. It comes across as flat and shallow. Mainly because the past Doctors all had specific concerns and philosophies in each story whereas the whole of series 11 it felt more general and done just for the sake of doing it 😕

I think the doctor is one of the most complicated characters in fiction, the constant balance between the guilt of murdering his own kind, and the anger that his mercy still costs lives, a moral compass that never stops spinning.

I love season 11. Not kidding😂. I completely understand people for disliking the writing or something like that but I feel like some people are just looking at it too much from a critics point of view instead of what the show is based around. I've never really thought of it from the point of view of a critic and that is something I am really happy about because it means I can enjoy a lot of things because i truly enjoyed watching them instead of liking them because it has better writing or more sadness. Why some people have to just completely not include any Jodie in there tribute videos now I find completely just wrong. If you're going to make a video about a certain genre like sadness or something similar and there aren't and scenes that fit in well then that is fine but a lot of people seem to be just rejecting season 11 for a reason idk but whatever. I really hope that people aren't as harsh on season 12 and at least try to see the good in it unlike some people. Basically I think it is really respectful to Jodie Whittaker and the season 11 cast and crew to appreciate it more since it does seem that they've put a lot of work into it and it is even better because you are one of my favourite multifandom tribute channels on youtube❤
