This may have been the early run throughs in the Toronto show as i went to one of its performances and I do not remember those camels. 🤣. They certainly made a lot of improvements when it moved to broadway especially during "a whole new worlds". I remember when the planets came out of nowhere, it was very underwhelming. I'm glad they kept it simple for Broadway. the carpet flying alone was emotional enough to witness.
@@moviesandtvseriesclips1619 The most changes done during the previews were during the ending and the 2nd act. from what i recall a whole new world started having the shoot star effect wits LED backdrop when I saw it. the horrible planets and flying stars effect was still there. but the ending had the camels cut out, and had Aladdin and Jasmine walking towards the open gate before curtain call. Jafar's vegas platform in the end still didn't exist in the final month of the previews. I presume they had this prepped for broadway and didn't bother using it here. They didn't have the carpet ending yet until the broadway show. Im sure I may have missed some changes made during the previews shows as I only saw the final month in Toronto to compare it with the videos here.

A part of me wishes that they kept genie's somebody's got ur back reprise in the final version of the show
