Nice to hear the 520 a little, not to much unlike the John Deere A on the old sickle MoCo. I think we're planning on putting all of first cut in the mow or at least a majority of it.
I am happy that you getting plenty of rain! Last year seemed to be dry. Here in Florida we are dry and probably going to get slammed by a hurricane after August.
Great video Mike!! We just got done mowing 1st crop yesterday so now I have to get the 7810 hooked up to the merger so we can chop today. I hope nothing breaks🤞
Last year was odd for hay sales. I thought for sure that I would’ve sold out of small squares, but the round bales were the hot selller. I think you have a very good case for that 7810 now…
Hey Mike, good to see some hay getting knocked down. We started here and made me think of talking balage with you at the farm show. Looking forward to your next video. -Mark
Hi Jon. We have 3 tractors with the 15 speed powershift and 1 with the quad range. Both transmissions have been very reliable for us. If you were to have issues the powershift would be more expensive to fix. The way a guy explained to me once is the powershift is like an automatic transmission in your car and the quad is like a manual.
Haha, I know! Now that all the corn is planted I gotta have my son load up the Kubota and take them all to the dumpster. I liked your Instagram post about June being dairy month. That is great you are coming down to help me milk for dairy month 😃
WE HAD TO MUCH RAIN WE WOULD'VE CUT HAY IN LATE MAY BUT IT'S ALWAYS RAINING AND WE NEED DRY WEATHER FOR BAILING HAY WE DON'T CHOP ANYMORE SINCE WE HAVE BEEF COWS. EVEN THE PLANTING IS BEHIND AS WELL SOME GUYS ARE STILL TRYING TO PLANT CORN AND SOYBEAN PLANTING IS BEHIND AS WELL
520 sounds good
Thanks Ralph. It's a great tractor
Great video
Thank you
That's some serious hay crop right there!! Great video. MoCo looks like an amazing mower
Thank you. It made some really nice hay
Another crazy Saturday night watching videos!
Sounds like a fun Saturday night
I had a good start to the hay season. Opened up the door to the shop this morning and found a flat tire on my 4240. Hate flat tires.
Always something. Hopefully you didn't have to get a new tire

Thanks Anthony. Best of luck getting your first cutting
I am happy that you getting plenty of rain! Last year seemed to be dry. Here in Florida we are dry and probably going to get slammed by a hurricane after August.
Yeah I'm glad we aren't dry. It would be nice if we had a few bigger windows of nice weather so we can get the hay in
Great video Mike!! We just got done mowing 1st crop yesterday so now I have to get the 7810 hooked up to the merger so we can chop today. I hope nothing breaks🤞
Best of luck getting everything chopped

I agree. I always can make a case for a 7810 though
I absolutely love your videos!
Thank you Jesse. I appreciate it
It's always something... Great video, Mike!
Thank you Morgan
Nice to start cutting 👌 should make some nice feed 👍👍
Thank you. Made some really nice hay
Great video Mike. Love the smell of fresh cut hay. I hope you don’t need to drag the NH square bailer out this summer.
Thanks Rick. Probably round bale 1st then square bale 2nd
Great Video Mike, theres nothing as satisfying as cutting hay, thanks for sharing
Thanks Tony. Its great to get out there and get some hay knocked down

Thanks Mark, and thanks again for passing on some knowledge at the farm show
Good video Mike. Hope everything is going good. Take care buddy👍
Thanks Kevin. I appreciate it
Great video Mike
Thank you Paul
Great vidéo thanks mike 😊
Thank you. I appreciate it
Enjoy your videos😊 how many hours on your tractors and have you had to have any major work done to them?
Thank you. The hours on our tractors varies depending on the tractor. We've had the engine rebuilt in the 4040
Ah, smells great 👍🏾
It was a great smell for sure
A bigger planter would come in handy during rain delays
Sure would, a lot of things would come in handy during rain delays
Were you able to sell any of your round bales last winter?
Yeah we sold 40 out of the field last summer then sold a few through out the winter
Hi Mike,
What is your preference on those JD tractors, 15sp power shift or Quad range, as far longevity and overall Reliability?
Thanks

Sounds like you guys have alot of carry over feed! Going to try and sell more hay this season?
Yeah I have a listing on Facebook Market place now for the square bales.
Look at that messy shop floor 🤦♂️🤣🤣

Love the Dairy Month. With all of the rain you should be safe to make a big bonfire!! Maybe even Livestream it.
What a trip Hazzard 😅
@@NorthEastOhio yeah, maybe if you are accident prone
Hey Mike love the video just wondering what was going on next to the Hayfield with all those look like posts are they growing fruit trees
Those are a mix of trees. Most of them are maple

I'm glad we got some rain and aren't dry. I agree I'd like some longer windows of nice weather so we can get the hay in
What is the puepose if the siper long hitch arm
on the mower?
The mower is a 15 foot head and swings to either side. I doubt you would want a shorter hitch for such a wide mower
Can you show me that round bale gig that you had to ùn roll a round bale thanks
Are you talking about the Wic bale unroller machine that you drive around or the work saver attachment that goes on the front of the wheel loader?
@mikep7810 yes!
@@danielglaus2064 Which one is what I'm asking you
@mikep7810 front end loader video that you had
@mikep7810 yes that's the video I'm looking for
🚜👌💪👍
Thank you Carlos
That tractor in the thumbnail is kinda ugly but im sure its a beast going by the size of the front end.
It's a great tractor, that's for sure
