Best bet is to use a can of pump protector, amzn.to/3zvkCXW I also store mine in an above freezing garbage but I know thats not always possible. Used to store in the cellar for the winter before having the garage.
No, but it also depends on what tip you use, like the soap tip there is very little pressure. Yes I was definitely to close lol but this car was in the woods for 10 years so I was trying to get the moss off of it…..
Hello, yes I used regular gas which contained ethanol, but before winter I added stabilizer to the gas. Oil wise I’m unsure, it came with oil in a Simpson package but I’m guessing it’s normal 10w30. Normally this gas if left sit causes the float to stick in the carb on small gas engines. But it could also be a issue of no spark or bad plug but probably a gas issue.
Check the air filter, can get soaked with oil in transport. Check oil level, has to be exact, and unit should be on level ground when starting. Release all the air pressure from trigger before trying to start it. Could be one of these things. Hope that helps.
@@Tools-Tested I have one almost the same, except that it has a Simpson engine. It's manual recommends 15W40 oil. I think is a very good idea for an air cooled engine that just sits still when running.
Its only draws soap from a container with the black soap tip on the wand. Just a little tip bro!
I bought this model two years ago and have been happy with it. Starts on the first pull most times too. Glad to have it.
Simpson makes a Dial n Wash attachment so you can adjust the pressure
Interesting didn't know that existed. Thanks for the info!
How should it be stored in between uses or more long-term for the winter? Thank you for posting the video. John

Wow you are destroying you paint with that high of pressure and that close
How do you use the little downstream hose for soap and bleach?
You can only use it with the black soap tip, it will pull it from the bucket with that tip on.
Is the psi reducible ? I was wondering how were you washing your car so cb lose without damaging the paint

it can be with different size orfice.
So when you don't want soap or chemical you just remove the hose from the bucket?
Yep
Well I'll be. How's the unit holding up? Looking at picking one up tomorrow and starting some pressure washing
Would this model be good for houses and concrete?
Yes it would work good for both
Use pump saver after each use and any pressure washer will last for years and years
Yep hopefully!
How are you still liking it?
Yeah I haven't had any issues with it. Like I said though I really wish the muffler had a better guard around it.
How do you start it?
Should just push the throttle in choke position, then once it starts back it down to operating range.
Did you have to purchase the holes for the soap, how much water and soap did you mix?
Hi the soap hose came with the pressure washer, the water to soap depends on what soap you use, the ratio should be on the back of the bottle.
Did you put regular gas ? And what type of oil did you put in ? . I'm having trouble starting mine I bought on offer up

Mine won't start
If it's been sitting with gas in it, the float in the carb is probably stuck.
@@Tools-Tested Also, it may have an oil pressure switch, so be sure to check the oil level.
mine came from the factory with a defect. simpson wont answer phone. rings for a short time and then goes dead.
That’s crazy, mines been good fingers 🤞🏻 , I would return it to were you bought it if it was me.
