I love turtles so much but Alligator Snapping Turtles became my top fav! Seeing how people will willingly try to lie and sell them like that hurts me so much... But yall coming in to save them made me feel so much better! Im actually planning to study animal sciences in College so I can help yall and the animals! Thank you for helping them out😊

Could it be that they were poached to make turtle oil or perhaps their meat or their skins? Anything that a poacher could make off from a snapping turtle has it's value, which is the only reason why some reino species went extinct.
