Like most interactions, I really enjoyed this one. They were friendly, thoughtful and evidently compassionate.
I think, given their previous exposure to the topic and love for animals, I could have done more to hold them accountable to themselves, or at least been firmer in my encouragement to fiercely pursue the truth, through the resources given.
But, hey - I'm convinced that leaving them with a smile is more EMPOWERING than potentially leaving them with a frown.
    Thanks for watching!

The correction on the screen was wrong. If a vegan diet isn't based on whole plant food, it may be better, but is not necessarily healthful based on the extreme degradation of nutritional value of ultra processed food that is a significant part of most people's diet.

This whole discussion is such a urbanite problem. Anyone who grew up anywhere remotely where people hold animals don't need to be educated on "you have to kill animal to eat it". Literally inventing hot water.
You advocate for people seeing it in their 20s after not thinking about it so they're disgusted and go vegan.
I advocate for people seeing it in their 5-15s so they can comprehend death is required for food.
    We're not the same joke.
And don't bother telling me I'm advocating for childhood trauma, cause if that's trauma then reality is traumatic. Better to give bits of cruel reality in childhood like a vaccine, so our future children do not have total error 404 when reality actually starts knocking at their doors.

    • @JamesKiteActivism

Where have I advocated for "people seeing it in their 20s"?

    • @JamesKiteActivism

Otherwise, I agree, we shouldn't live in a world where people are this disconnected 💔

    • @MrMrtvozornik
      @MrMrtvozornik Місяць тому +1

@@JamesKiteActivism I was being a bit facetious to fit it in a meme format, you are seemingly in your 20s and so was the girl in the video, so I phrased it that way.
Mostly, I'm simply showing animosity towards urban "first world problems". City is not a natural habitat for human beings, and we should stay clear of making mega cities.
Obviously, I'm not pro anarcho naturalist stuff, nor going back to Amish style living, but just having people unironically say "Why kill an animal when you can go to store and buy meat" (like that famous girl way back, like 10 years ago, was all the rage on the internet) is a symptom of just how far removed we are from reality and nature.
People out here are being born and buried without ever leaving the concrete jungle, not being able to light a fire, build a shelter, grow plants, domesticate and butcher animals etc.
We've replaced those actual real skills for fleeting ones, such as knowing how to engagement bait on TikTok and similar silly things.
We've raised Godless, nihilistic generation that has no higher meaning derived in life, so it's not at all surprising they're plagued with mental illnesses and emptiness.
Or I guess TL;DR We should touch grass.
