IM TIRED OF THIS! Just go tell your parents all your bad thoughts. If that doesn't work, keep doing it. If it still doesn't work get therapy (if the situation is severe register for therapy first-DO NOT WAIT). Therapy is always the final option. Just go bother your therapist and everyone about your bad thoughts if there is a very rare chance (I think 1 percent) that you might still have bad thoughts after all the help and it's still serious. Eventually it would go away with pressure then.

Conversing with them, arguing with them, resisting them, querying or questioning why they came are all making their stay longer. You hear Sadhguru suggesting meditation (Isha Kriya) as an option to experience that "you, the aliveness" and "your thoughts and emotions" are not the same; some people come to that realization through some other way and some people express that same awareness using other words.
The information you collect leads to thinking which leads to emotions and feelings which eventually make you act. So thoughts become true most of the time. Thoughts doesn't come and go, it's just us who might be consciously or unconsciously think. The emotions are by product of thoughts. So think what makes you happy if at all you have to think

Focus on the positive instead of the negative, because there are so many positive thoughts that can uplift you. You know the truth, and if the truth hurts, accept it and change that pain into what you desire and what you love. But no matter how negative the ocean is, your ship won't sink, because you didn't let the water in. But also remember, that by forcing yourself to be happy. you will end up mire in despair. You aren't alone and especially in this society everything has a certain name for what helped me is really just saying "I am" and literally no words after but still I am dealing with myself a lot but when everyone tells you being a teenager is very beautifull, the best time of your life. Yes, It is for the opportunities that you have but for the things that's going in your mind It really isn't but that's just what means growing up and you will get experience from it, get stronger. You will be dealing with yourself your whole life so start now, start knowing yourself and just get through things and as you will get through it, you will get stronger. This guy is my grandfather that I never had. I took all his advices to the next level of my life. His words are like an oxygen for every individual. Makes us calm and keep going.
Yes, he teaches what our family should've been able to teach us, but they weren't taught themselves, so it's not their fault, it just is that way. So, people like Sadhguru are much needed, especially due to how our society is these days, we've lost what ancient civilizations used to make a normal, everyday part of their lives.
@@nylakhan5658 You don't. Just kind of allow them but look at them like cats running around. They are cats and will do what they do. If you try to stop them they will scratch you. Let them do their thing and the cats eventually settle down or go to sleep. The more you try to stop them the more they pounce. Eventually, they will just kinda be background noise that you occasionally notice. It can be hard to do but rewarding with practice. I have CPTSD and this really works for me.

The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived; Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. Yes, the Soul might peak into the Mind for a few moments and observe its thoughts and ideas, but the Soul is NEVER and can NEVER be the Mind, for they are two separate facets. Problems and sufferings arise when we allow our Soul to identify as the Mind and become attached to its thoughts, knowledge, and intellect, so when those mental elements are disturbed, we also are disturbed. Only when we can distance them from each other and view life from an objective point of view do our anxieties and worries go away, and do we find inner peace.
I've gotten those things then realized I never needed them until the exact moment that they came into my life. So instead of focusing on what I didn't have I just found creative ways to achieve my goals without worrying about it being "perfect".
The best lesson I learned from meditating is treating and imagining your mind as a road, and the thoughts are just a traffic crossing your mind, they keep moving. You and only you decide to stop a specific car and focus on it without letting it flow and continue it’s road. “I am not the body, I am neither the mind”. Have a nice day!

I been struggling lately with intrusive thoughts and stuff really getting me down judging myself as a person as Iv not always had them only the past 6-7 months watching this made me realise and all psychiatrists should recommend this man

Really focusing and trying hard go figure out how my mind actually functions and is able to work has been driving me crazy. What he is saying makes so much sense, the more you try to figure it out and analyze the mind the more anxiety its going to bring.

In virtual attachment with Sadguru, I perfectly understand that complete detachment from the external world, and living in solitude through meditation on the self must be the only way to be free from "OCD "(obsessive compulsive disorder )which originates from negative and absurd paranoid thought and behaviour. I am very much grateful to Sadguru who spiritually encourages many people including me about the art of living in happiness trancedentally.
One of my favorite hobbies and things to do is running. When I’m running I feel and hear my heartbeat. I am also focused on my breathing and feel every breath go in to my lungs. I admire nature and what surrounds me when I run. Eventually once I’m in a few miles I get that runners high. In a way I feel like it’s my consciousness being fully present. Thoughts do come and go but they’re just like clouds. I feel so a live that nothing matters to me. I simply enjoy my run, myself and the world that surrounds me. I hope someday I can master something like this with meditation as well. Namaste 🙏🏻
As someone who's been trying hard to remove all forms of negativity from my life, I've started to see how destructive it is. I've started to realize how poisonous it is, how negativity and pessimism is a monster that's devouring our species whole, crushing us beneath its jaws while we attack each other and belittle each other.

Removing negative thoughts can be a challenging process, but it's important to remember that you have the power to change your thought patterns. Focus on the present moment and engage in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Surround yourself with positive people and engage in self-care regularly. Remember, removing negative thoughts is a process, but with practice and perseverance, you can cultivate a more positive and fulfilling inner dialogue.
The problem is not with negative or positive thought. The problem is of “attachment”. Positive is not good and negative is not bad. No Labeling is what we should aim at. It is the preference or the judgment that gives us trouble. So just looking at thoughts as thoughts and nothing else- no stories, no beliefs, no views, no good or bad, right or wrong- that only liberates us. This is taught by Buddha. Sadhguru is copying these concepts. Earlier he used to speak incorrectly about all this. Now he has changed. He does not speak from practice, he reads up from here and there and speaks. But anyways, the essence of happiness is rooted in nonjudgmental observation.

Basically, the guru explains mindfulness technique: focus on something stable that keeps you alive (your breath-physical dimension) and observe any negative thought that arises (psychological dimension). That way you don't let the two dimensions interact with each other.
*I knew his greatness from a long period of time but Today I watched just one his video and it made me consume 2 hours from my ''very strict daily routine''...* *But it literally was just Heaven...😊*
Thank you this reminder is on time. I am in my first weeks of pregnancy and I feel the world sitting in my chest with all its unpleasant feelings, and it is hard to ignore the heavyweight in my heart and negative words in my mind. I will do my best to separate me and the feelings in my body and the words I ponder in the mind, so I can feel at peace again and have my baby in a healthier way .

Our minds are an accumulation of impressions/ concepts that we have gathered, our bodies are an accumulation of food that we have given it. When you accumulate anything, by all means you can claim it, own it, but you cant say it is yours. I am NOT the body, I am NOT even the mind. There is something more fundamental about who we really are that goes beyond the mind and body.

Thankyou Sadhguru ji. This session is really needed. Many times we suffer just because our mind thinks the way we dont want even we are aware conciously that its just mind and whatever it thinks dont show our true motive or desire whether its positive or negative. What I learnt from this session that dont give power to your mind and thoughts to such extent that they start to dominate you. Realising your true self ( life or soul ) is the end of all sufferings. When you detach yourself from your mind and body your actually also take the 'hurting' power from them too. It sounds simple but takes a lot lot of practice to make this thing a belief.

The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived;
Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. Yes, the Soul might peak into the Mind for a few moments and observe its thoughts and ideas, but the Soul is NEVER and can NEVER be the Mind, for they are two separate facets. Problems and sufferings arise when we allow our Soul to identify as the Mind and become attached to its thoughts, knowledge, and intellect, so when those mental elements are disturbed, we also are disturbed. Only when we can distance them from each other and view life from an objective point of view do our anxieties and worries go away, and do we find inner peace.

I remember wishing I had this or that and then realizing later that I was glad I didn't get it.
I've gotten those things then realized I never needed them until the exact moment that they came into my life. So instead of focusing on what I didn't have I just found creative ways to achieve my goals without worrying about it being "perfect".

The best lesson I learned from meditating is treating and imagining your mind as a road, and the thoughts are just a traffic crossing your mind, they keep moving. You and only you decide to stop a specific car and focus on it without letting it flow and continue it’s road.

I been struggling lately with intrusive thoughts and stuff really getting me down judging myself as a person as Iv not always had them only the past 6-7 months watching this made me realise and all psychiatrists should recommend this man

In virtual attachment with Sadguru, I perfectly understand that complete detachment from the external world, and living in solitude through meditation on the self must be the only way to be free from "OCD "(obsessive compulsive disorder )which originates from negative and absurd paranoid thought and behaviour. I am very much grateful to Sadguru who spiritually encourages many people including me about the art of living in happiness trancedentally.
One of my favorite hobbies and things to do is running. When I’m running I feel and hear my heartbeat. I am also focused on my breathing and feel every breath go in to my lungs. I admire nature and what surrounds me when I run. Eventually once I’m in a few miles I get that runners high. In a way I feel like it’s my consciousness being fully present. Thoughts do come and go but they’re just like clouds. I feel so a live that nothing matters to me. I simply enjoy my run, myself and the world that surrounds me. I hope someday I can master something like this with meditation as well. Namaste 🙏🏻
As someone who's been trying hard to remove all forms of negativity from my life, I've started to see how destructive it is. It's reprogramming your subconscious mind. And when negative thoughts come don't show them no emotion just let them pass
The problem is not with negative or positive thought. The problem is of “attachment”. Positive is not good and negative is not bad. No Labeling is what we should aim at. It is the preference or the judgment that gives us trouble. So just looking at thoughts as thoughts and nothing else- no stories, no beliefs, no views, no good or bad, right or wrong- that only liberates us. This is taught by Buddha. Sadhguru is copying these concepts. Earlier he used to speak incorrectly about all this. Now he has changed. He does not speak from practice, he reads up from here and there and speaks. But anyways, the essence of happiness is rooted in nonjudgmental observation.

Basically, the guru explains mindfulness technique: focus on something stable that keeps you alive (your breath-physical dimension) and observe any negative thought that arises (psychological dimension). That way you don't let the two dimensions interact with each other.

Thank you this reminder is on time. I am in my first weeks of pregnancy and I feel the world sitting in my chest with all its unpleasant feelings, and it is hard to ignore the heavyweight in my heart and negative words in my mind. As a negative thought comes I think of a beautiful thought instead such as looking up to the SKY. Contemplate a cloud. Be thankful for all that you love in the world. List them out loud. Be grateful for all things. When you meditate, that’s why you concentrate on your breath. To distract from all those pesky thoughts of the everyday.

Thankyou Sadhguru ji. This session is really needed. Many times we suffer just because our mind thinks the way we dont want even we are aware conciously that its just mind and whatever it thinks dont show our true motive or desire whether its positive or negative.
What I learnt from this session that dont give power to your mind and thoughts to such extent that they start to dominate you. Realising your true self ( life or soul ) is the end of all sufferings. When you detach yourself from your mind and body your actually also take the 'hurting' power from them too. It sounds simple but takes a lot lot of practice to make this thing a belief.
