hey guys here's a guide (finally huh?) hopefully you guys enjoy checking out SKZ with me! if you do, leave a like and if you're new make sure to subscribe! if you're able to please support me on patreon so i can keep these videos coming for you all!
I'm sure a million ppl have mentioned by now but the clips are from the Stray Kids reality show that they had before debut. it's really good, maybe once you're done with AHL *Hint* *hint*
also the main reason ppl call I.N(Jeongin), Lee Know (Minho) and Han (Jisung) by their real names more is because when we first got to know stray kids no one in the group had stage names they were all just using their real names and then like 6 months later those 3 got stage names so people were kind of like wtf and mostly stuck to how they already learned them.
the reason the fans call them their real names instead of stage names is because most of us were here when they were on that competition show and had yet to give themselves stage names. their stage names are rather new and ig fans feel more comfortable cuz they’ve called them their real names for so long
Ikr i havent been a stay fir that long like December but still i always used their real names bUt mY stAy fRieNd iS likE whO? so i have to say itS hAn anD lEe knOw
We call him Bang Chan, because that’s his stage name (okay I don’t call him Bang Chan fo often... but) he change his stage name with Jisung, Minho and I.N and is correctly Bang Chan (idk if you know it already, but.)
where woojin was singing YG VS JYP that was show for stray kids debut, like show about how the group was made, you can say JYP survival shows the same as YG treasure box : )
That yg vs jyp is very much like yg treasure box. The people who they competed against in yg are the boys in yg treasure box now. It's just that stray kids debuted before them. This show that stray kids were on was basically them debuting
and usually ulzzangs are on Instagram so that's why they showed pictures as proof ulzzangs start as normal people but like REALLY pretty and then they can even get over 100k(or more) followers on ig sometimes they get sponsors or some modeling companies want them in the past they could even become an idol but I don't think this kind of recruiting is that common anymore
QUESTIONS YOU ASKED ANSWERS:(no spoilers or out of context stuff) 1. Squish/Squishy does mean soft. 2. That show you asked about with YG in it was Stray Kid's Predebut reality show! They had to do challenges and stuff in order to debut so it was sort of like yg treasure box but they all got to debut(thank god) the yg trainees appeared on the show for a episode so they could test SKZ its kind of a YG X jyp tradition to have their trainees verse each other. 3. kendo is a form of martial arts yes but it is with kendo sticks which are basically long wooden sticks, it originates from Japan and if you search it up you'll see photos and such. (its basically sword fighting, it is a sword fighting style) 4. the other show you mentioned is called ASC aka After School Club, idols and groups often go on the show which is hosted by jyp idols and they do challenges and answer questions and talk to fans etc. It funny and includes both english translations(hosts are fluent) and subtitles. It is usually live streamed on vlive but you can watch it afterwards at any time. 5.Ulzzang's are basically people on instagram or any social media that includes images that are popular for their good looks and being blessed to be photogenic. Their photos are usually alwags aesthetically pleasing. Just think of it this way, they're models😂🐶 6. Jeongin the maknae has braces. However! Han DOES have a piercing in his mouth I'm not sure what its called where it is but yeah. Hyunjin also has his tongue pierced.
Finally you reacted to them they’re hilarious If you don’t want to know why Chan was crying don’t click read more The reason Chan was crying was bc Felix got eliminated since stray Kids was a survival show luckily they debuted ot9 first Minho was eliminated and then Felix but later on they were put back on the line up by JYP
Well I agree 50% most of the guides are cringe but if you choose to watch a memeful guide, obviously is gonna be cringe. There are another ones that are more serious :/
Oh my gosh!!!! You made my day!!! Thank you for doing this Stray Kids guide!!! I really love that you're doing group guides!!! 😭💖 At some point it would be awesome if you check out the Stray Kids Being Woke video! It explains the deep meanings behind their songs that talk about societal issues. The video explain their music writing and what they want to project as a group as well Theres other important things the video didn't really touch upon such as, Chan is basically the sole reason Stray Kids exists. He's the one who chose all the members/formed the lineup to make Stray Kids (JYP only gave the ok to debut and confirmed the lineup) He also was a 7 yr trainee and trained with Got7, Day6, and Twice. Chan also is the main member alongside 3Racha that composes all their songs etc And basically Bang Chan is just his full name, while Chris is his English name, but his surname is Bang. Also fun fact, not sure if you know but Minho/Lee Know was a backup dancer for BTS. If you look at prior BTS performances you can probably spot Minho too. The reason why a lot of fans refer to the members' through their real names like Minho instead of Lee Know etc is cause a lot of fans have been with them since their survival show when they were trainees so they didn't have those stage names yet. Haha a lot of people were shook when we saw "Lee Know" appear on their debut album tracklist, they didn't even officially announced their stage names, we only found out through their album tracklist post for District9 The rappers really can sing so well too and the vocalist with rapping. You should check out the Stray Kids' Cover of Last Dance, Yonghwa Bridge, and HeartBeat, it'll show you all the rappers singing, cause the minimal clips in the video doesn't cover just how multitalented they are
So the reason why everyone knows the members by their real names is because they were on an elimination show before they debuted. This would determine who was in the group and it is how a lot of stays know stray kids. When you saw people crying it was most likely from the show when one of them got eliminated. Spoiler!!! They all debuted in the end as 9 members thankfully. (They brought back the two that were eliminated and gave them a second chance.
@@anthonytoo ua-cam.com/video/jqVbIIysONU/v-deo.html Here ya go! It might contain some song spoilers in it though so be careful aha. I personally don't mind meme guides that much cause some are funny but most are cringe you're right cause they're often to fangirly with all the ships and such.
Stray kids vs yg was a brief blip on the stray kids show over a year ago. Jyp and yg have a tradition of taking trainees and competing against each other for fun. Some of the boys in treasure box were on that show competing against stray kids to kinda show off their talent
The show they were on was sort of a survival show to determine the exact people in the group before their debut. Its called “Stray Kids” but add survival show afterwards to find it
That show is ASC (after school club) its a mostly English Korean show where the interview idols about their comebacks, you should check it out. They have full episodes with basically every modern kpop group/artist
That tv show that they were on was a survival show to see who would debut in the group. I personally haven't watched it but I'm sure some other fans could give you links to wherever it is available. From what I've heard, its very emotional.
Actually this program it's stray kids survive show, it's different from Yg Treasure box, cause in treasure box they have to compete against each other, more like producer 101, but on this show ,it's more like jyp testing the members to find a weak spot, or the members fighting to debut as 9 and jyp Making them suffer, but the members help each other out. And the clips that you saw was jyp vs Yg, like in the last Yg survival with winner, you had winner+ikon vs got7+day6.
A few clips in this video, ex: Woojin singing "I Smile" by Day6, were from the Arirang show "After School Club" aka ASC! And a few of the other ones are from their survival show "Stray Kids" where they tried to debut as 9, ex: Bang Chan, Woojin and Han singing As If It's Your Last or the clip of Han and Changbin rapping Matryoshka :)
YG vs JYP is where trainees from YG and JYP compete against each other. So people like Got7, Ikon, Day6 Stray Kids have competed on it Ulzzang means like beautiful or handsome by Korean standards. Lots of people say Jay Park is an ulzzang Also yes please react to 3racha. The member that first caught my eye was Felix. He was just such ana adorable human plus his accent. Changbin is my bias and Felix is my bias wrecker hh
the stray kids show just triggers me like i could be laughing then a clip from the show plays and tears start falling every freaking time thank you jyp for scaring me
The show with YG vs JYP is Stray Kids Survival Show, you should really check it out even if it's off camera since it shows the production of their 1st album and preparation for debut and you really learn their personalities. Also a fun fact which I was kinda disappointed they didn't add but Minho (Lee Know) was actually a backup dancer for BTS for multiple years before he joined Stray Kids and they're the reason he became an idol
The show they were on is the stray kids survival show you should definitely watched that too if you wanna get to know them - there’s 11 episodes around 45 mins each
Omg finally!!! 😂😂 thanks I was waiting for this reaction! Stray kids finally!!! I hope you react to their songs and other things I'm sure you gonna love them ❤❤
Ulzzang is basically the Korean word for those Instagram models that you always see but also this guide actually helped me get into Stray Kids more I mean I stan them but I’m still behind on all of the ships and inside jokes so thanks Anthony 👏🏾👏🏾
This was my first stray kids guide hhh I still have a hard time remembering their names lol also sad this wasn’t as funny as I thought it would be but it was still entertaining nevertheless
After school club (the show u asked for) is a show for international fans so the hosts must be fluent or almost fluent in english. Chan has guest hosted before and seungmin was the permanent host for a while and quit recently due to busy schedules. It's hella entertaining and they interview, play games with different segments with groups live for an hr. The hosts would translate the english for idols and translate the korean for fans live. Hosts are usually hilarious and some ppl watch for just the hosts
okay but Anthony saying he isn't a fan of ships is a MOOD. But for some reason straykids ships gross me out because fans sexualized them while they were minors.
i don't really agree with shipping real people in general (all about them fictional ships tho) but as far as kpop ships go i'm on-board as long as the joke is acknowledged, or it's a brotp (or whatever the sis version of a brotp is) and it's not weird creepy sexualizing of kids or adults the like bc sexualizing people in general is weird
*You should react to the individual guides by "Vic Killjoy". They are really good. To now he/she only made guides for Woojin, Chan and Minho but there will be one for all members.*
they have a survival show called "stray kids". if you're really dedicated to knowing them, i recommend watching it! :) i kept up with the episodes as it was being uploaded so it was easier for me to get to know them before they debuted. you can watch it on websites like kshow123 or kshowonline.
..I don't find the guide cringey at all?? It was my first introduction to Stray Kids and even then I still didn't find it cringey. Good reaction video. I just don't understand tbh.
It’s bc of how it like romanticizes them like the music during changbin and Chan flexing or changlix instead of actually showing their personalities kinda? Like ofc they’re all sweet and affectionate but like there’s a difference between “OMG HIS SMILE” and “He has a sweet smile that shows when he’s with the others” ? Idk if that makes sense
Oh wait, you should react tp when Stray Kids singers become rappers and when Stray Kids rappers become singers cause these boys are hella good at both 🔥🔥
Ulzzang is basically "Best Face" or "Good Looking". I see it most used to describe non-celebrities (I guess they can be celebrities though) who have large followings online bc they fit the Korean beauty standard. I know that Wonho (of Monsta X) used to be an Ulzzang ^^
You should react to (or just watch) the jyp vs yg videos, the last two were where jyp trainees and yg trainees vs each other on singing, rap and dance. I forgot which groups were in the 1st one (2pm and BigBang?), but the 2nd one had ikon and winner vs got7 and day6, and the 3rd was stray kids vs the yg trainees (from the yg survival show) The show they were on was 'stray kids' and they were at yg, so yeah that was the same room from ygtb (maybe)
If you want to get to know the members better, the same channel made more guides to each unit. So far they have a guide to 3racha and dance line but have yet to make a guide to the vocal line :)
Key (SHINee) - One of Those Nights ft. Crush Yunho (TVXQ) - City Lights ft. Taeyong (NCT) Yesung (SuJu) is also going to be releasing a collab soon For personal listening (as in no need for a reaction) check out Ryeowook's (SuJu) last three MVs they're all on SM's channel and we're uploaded fairly recently.
Ullzang (romanized as "eoljjang" based of of the korean word for face (eolgul) and "jjang" ("jjang" meaning best/ good)) is a Korean term literally meaning "best face" or "good looking". It's like what I guess Americans would call "tumblr girl" or "tumblr boy"

I love woojin's goat scream 😂😂
I can only see part of it but Anthony looking fresh my dude✊🏽
yeah we usually call them all by their real names (minho, jisung, jeongin)
Also, you'll never have a bias in stray kids, that just never happens! Ot9 forever!! ❤❤
Me and changbin have the same birthday and he's my bias❤
i love when you drop my hero academia references
You should react to (or just watch) the jyp vs yg videos, the last two were where jyp trainees and yg trainees vs each other on singing, rap and dance. I forgot which groups were in the 1st one (2pm and BigBang?), but the 2nd one had ikon and winner vs got7 and day6, and the 3rd was stray kids vs the yg trainees (from the yg survival show)
The show they were on was 'stray kids' and they were at yg, so yeah that was the same room from ygtb (maybe)
If you want to get to know the members better, the same channel made more guides to each unit. So far they have a guide to 3racha and dance line but have yet to make a guide to the vocal line :)
Pfft...haha the way you said Wonpil🤣
I.M - Maknae of Monsta X
I.N - Maknae of Stray Kids
lmao
Key (SHINee) - One of Those Nights ft. Crush
Yunho (TVXQ) - City Lights ft. Taeyong (NCT)
Yesung (SuJu) is also going to be releasing a collab soon
For personal listening (as in no need for a reaction) check out Ryeowook's (SuJu) last three MVs they're all on SM's channel and we're uploaded fairly recently.
OKAY INTRO.
Also is that Paul losing his mind in the back of the intro?
