I knew exactly what you were going to attempt and, had you been playing me, that would have been followed my a flip off and a high five. Great shot. Love it ~!~ Also, I like your talking and explanations.
My opponent was not much in the mood for a high five. He had "history" with two people on my team, so he was not interested in showing any sort of appreciation.
@@DrDaveBilliards, That is disrespecting the game IMHO......a great shot is a great shot and should be acknowledged. I played a tournament and I fouled, double strike on the cue, but nobody saw it....... I excused myself from the table visit....to questions of WTF. But it's about the honor of the game. Sure, I get pissed off too when I think I've got that win coming only see an opponent pull that rabbit out of the hat but one must look past those disappointments. As an aside, i'm getting really tired of the lockdowns with my favorite halls closed but just glad I have a table of my own to play on.
Actually, the amount of editing in this video was much less than with my normal videos. I was just copying footage from previous videos. What takes time is when you video record lost of new footage with lots of mistakes and with stuff sometimes out of order and need to edit it down, organize stuff, write a script, record narrations, trimming and adjust the narration segments to sync with the video clips, add spin diagrams and graphics, mute some audio and fade other audio in and out when necessary, add music, etc. That's when it takes a long time. This video was actually easy for me to create since I didn't need to do most of the usual production steps.
I LOVE YOUR CHANEL. the best chanel ever. but i want you to jjst see what is going on in brazilian pool. its unique. search 'copa do o mundo da sinuca' and try to see it. its a very diferente variant, way harder because of pockets size, i could say more, but at first just enjooy it, you make a video for us to enjoy, i give you a whole new world of billiards to enjoy. we talk more later, cheers
@@DrDaveBilliards the only similarity is the smashing of balls to compress the cushion to make it go in. but everything else is diferent (just to be clear, i never played pool, snooker or russin piramid, im from brazil and my favorite game is pool but i never got the chance to play it yet) the pockets are rounded and deep. this is crucial. also the rules of fouls, basicaly a fould you commit you remove the smalest numbered bal of your oponent of the table. and that can be used in som any ways(no cushion first needed for safeties) that its realy the chess game of pool. also the table is very small. (2x1) and balls 54mm cue ball 58. what i mean is.. the startegy is very nice you should check it out, im not trying to make a scene here. i love pool and i think its weird brazil dont have pool tables, thats very weird. every corner here we have a bar and a brazilian pool table (very bad quality, but its every corner) recently some famous bar players , real money matches, got famous, i mean, realy famous, 50k live watching in youtube. i want you to tell me how can this happen (mostly brazilians dont even know what thw word POOL means, we only say 'biliards' or 'snooker' , more precisely we say 'sinuca' for every game.) im saying this because i know you love the sport and i tought you would like to know the wayas the sport is happening in the moment around the world. thnaks and cheers !

Greetings from Swiss 👍
People sometimes complain that I talk too much and over-analyze things in my videos. This video is for them. Not much talk, and lot's of cool shots.
U recreated the efren shot where he had his bag on his shoulder. Great stuff.
Yep. I have lots of great Efren shots re-created in all the videos in this playlist:

Check it out.
@@DrDaveBilliards I ve seen everything mr Dave, but I was really impressed that u put the bag too :P . happy new year!

Nice video! I just wanna ask a question? Why the 8-9ft tables are taller in height than the 7ft? 🎱
Honestly, I didn't know they were.
Lol! Hilarious commentating on your recreated shot
Thanks. I’m glad you liked it.
Does the wood of the cue really matters or the tip is more important?
The wood of the shaft matters (mostly diameter) per the info here:
billiards.colostate.edu/faq/squirt/endmass/
Why I can't get action on the cue ball everytime I'm doing a draw shot ? Is these because of the tip, wood of the shaft or just my stroke?
@@Junnnn815 It is usually technique, not equipment. If you want help, see the videos and info here:

Enjoy, and good luck!
Your channel has also helped me improve my game. I still do the odd miscue when executing a screw back shot and the cue balls just scoops over. But slowly but surely my technique is getting there. My only problem now is similar to that of Alex Higgins ( standing up on the shot) 😝
Thank you Doctor Professor King Billiards 🎱🎱🎱🎱😎😎😎
I am glad you have benefitted from my stuff. FYI, if you want help with draw technique, see the videos and info here:

Good luck!

music? sounds like autechre
"Electronica - Breather" generated by the SoundStage ScoreFitter in my Pinnacle Studio video editing software.
Phew, it sure takes a lot of hard work to do something like that. By the way, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021!!!🎊🎆🥳🎉
Happy New Year!!!
I knew exactly what you were going to attempt and, had you been playing me, that would have been followed my a flip off and a high five. Great shot. Love it ~!~
Also, I like your talking and explanations.
My opponent was not much in the mood for a high five. He had "history" with two people on my team, so he was not interested in showing any sort of appreciation.
@@DrDaveBilliards,
That is disrespecting the game IMHO......a great shot is a great shot and should be acknowledged.
I hope that sofa still available just in case i decide to become a roommate
The amount of editing in this video is like 50x mine . Wow. But I can't make a living from UA-cam.....yet lol
Why do I remember him saying the more you play the luckier you get... i just spent 2 hours trying to find that clip.. and failed.
It is a very common saying. Efren often just says: "I Got Lucky," hence the T-shirt available here:

Efren, hold my beer
Comment for increased youtubationization. It should make it more better.
I like more better youtubationization. Thanks.
@@DrDaveBilliards
You really deserve it!
What about a collab with venom pool (Florian Kohler)? I hear he is pretty well youtubinized
@@okkrom That is a good idea. I hope I can make that happen some day ... maybe the next time I go to Vegas for a national league tournament.
That looks similar to Russian Pyramid billiards, which is even tougher.
(2x1) and balls 54mm cue ball 58. what i mean is.. the startegy is very nice you should check it out, im not trying to make a scene here. i love pool and i think its weird brazil dont have pool tables, thats very weird. every corner here we have a bar and a brazilian pool table (very bad quality, but its every corner) recently some famous bar players , real money matches, got famous, i mean, realy famous, 50k live watching in youtube. i want you to tell me how can this happen (mostly brazilians dont even know what thw word POOL means, we only say 'biliards' or 'snooker' , more precisely we say 'sinuca' for every game.) im saying this because i know you love the sport and i tought you would like to know the wayas the sport is happening in the moment around the world. thnaks and cheers !
also sorry im drunk
@@lo0ksik Thanks for the info.
