For sure mine too! Even tho i didnt come up with so much detail and depth like dads sake, i had the idea of saturns real body still being on the ship and thats why he ordered that nobody is allowed to know of "him being here". That might explain his seeming invincibility and maybe the other goroseis will still remain in maryjoa aswell.
Edit: It also wouldnt make sense that saturn doesnt want people to know that he is on ship, but then summons himself on egghead and even gets announced.
@@CallOfCranK the fact that no attacks work on him is real, but he can attack others. So in my opinion they have a different ability, something that Luffy will have to conquer before facing them. Like, when he couldn`t attack Logia he learned haki, but now is a different case, but same idea. I think Luffy still needs to understand and learn something new.

The plot points are so consistently based on on conspiracies that there no way Oda doesn't know about them. I'd argue that this is all just from devil fruit powers, only that we don't know what devil fruits really are. We think they're just fruits that give powers, but they could be something else entirely. They could be soul containers of real devils which have full sets of powers and who can be called upon using rituals
What if these are projections from the Gorosei and that’s why they can’t be hurt. And it actually works like 5 different Pains where there are secretly vulnerable bodies that can be hurts.
Since we didn’t see any form of transformation just a summoning, even tho Saturn was relatively close to the island and if he’s so strong he could have got himself to the battle without the circle if it was just a zoan power.

Great Theory Dak's! What if the gorosei are some sort of astral projection? Like the holograms! Maybe their bodies are vulnerable because remember in the beginning of the arc, they were testing Saturn's food for poison.

This is an awesome video. For a while now I was thinking that Imu was literally the devil (in the sense that he may be the opposite of mother nature and therefore the opposite of Umi) and that his body and the Gorosei are all hosts for devils (or maybe Imu's currently possessing Lili's body). I reckon this type of power may be the source of all devil fruit powers and possibly even haki (due to some black lightning).
Maybe the Celestial Dragons' native cleansing murder festivals are secretly a sacrificial ritual for these devils.

There’s a moment in dressrosa where the exact same blue butterfly that was with imu flys in front of doffy and he kills it with his string. Just another interesting parallel between the two I noticed recently.
There may be significance behind this butterfly as it was focused on during the destruction of lulusia. Or it could just be some random butterfly
What if D stands for Dream, which is why the D initial is so dangerous? Since the Gorosei may utitlize the power of dreams/nightmares they know very well the power of dreams. Maybe the D initial belongs to those manifested by the collective will of the world's people, both good and bad in times of need or intense want for a change

The people with D are the eternal spirits from the ancient kingdom who reincarnate. Luffy obviously has Roger's reincarnated spirit, for example. The ancient kingdom is never fully destroyed, since they just keep coming back
I think that the D may actually means something different for each charachter. Like luffy's D stands for Dawn, it's pretty much confirmed at this point. But notice that many words with D are important to the story: Destiny, Dreams, Dragons... Even negative people with the D such as Rocks and Teach existing very well might have a different meaning, such as Dusk or Doom

I don't mean to "promote" anyone but there's a OP-tuber that goes by Drawk, he's gotten his mother to read the manga and they've just recently posted a post Marineford reaction/summary/discussion video, but something absolutely insane is with NO exposure to the series she's managed to find the magic circles from the very first time the Gorosei were introduced and linked them to exactly what they're being used for in the series currently, and like as soon as she got halfway through Alabasta predicted Liffy's ascension to Sun God, ik it sounds far fet he'd out of context but she researches all kinds of different views than what the general populace does and has come up with some insane guesses

I have a theory that the gorosei are all demons that is summoned by imu. That's why they are immortal and Saturn was able to summon them. They don't need devil fruit because they are the origin of devil fruit itself. The origin of devil fruit is a God or devil that grants wishes. For example if they wish for some strange power the god/ demon will grant it. This could also be tied with christianity which is the tree of wisdom ( in this case is wishes) and the devil. In luffy's case, maybe joyboy or the first one to eat that fruit wishes for freedom or power against oppressor(demons/ devil fruit users). And going back to Imu, he could be the host of these demons (gorosei) since the devil fruits which contains devil/ gods needed a host. The gorosei are parasites that needed to be fed for their immortality to retain their body since they are summoned by different circumstance that's why they needed sarcrifices (souls like big mom's devil fruit) that's why they serve imu to provide them food in exchange of power.

My initial theory was that St. Jay's fruit was an amalgamation of multiple fruits into one, possibly achieved by scientific experiments.
There were some clues, like Lunarian'esque fire above Jay's neck in some panels, the black scarf alluding to impurity similarly to BB's fruit, all the WG ties to human exploitation and the development of technology by using others as tools. Also the fact that using multiple fruits is possible since BB has done it.
I was trying to understand his powers with any form of science, but this chapter completely debunked me.
I don’t think it’s that deep. He’s quite clearly a mythical creature so like all other mythical zoans he will have multiple powers along with his transformation. He’s quite literally the ushi-oni from Japanese mythology
He could be the demon that those fruits are based on ... All 5 of them could be the incarnation of the demon of multiple fruits
In theory... im wondering if eventually dragon will assist luffy in some way to get garp. I would like to see more of something done with dragon character. It's either him sitting down or looking at a newspaper... im hoping in the final saga once luffy and the crew finally escape egghead Island. Once, luffy sees garp in the newspaper. Dragon would, too, bring an army to rescue his father. We know luffy will have the motivation to go after blackbeard. I think that given the big face form of St. Shepherd Ju Peter yokai form is based on a Jikininki a tall thin zombie like spirit with an elongated mouth that is always open and eats people matches the shadowy face very well.
I think that the devil fruits are originally called dream fruits, and it could have been smeared by the gorosei as a way to stop someone from eating the nika fruit, labeling it the "devil" fruits. I want to make it a connection to the D initial but that would be a stretch and I have no evidence for it, but I think the fruits and the D initial might be closely tied. I think it places credence to the Imu = the sea or abyss theory, since the fruits weakness is the sea.

1. Assuming all devil fruits are like the Nika fruit, it's possible that they pick which of their users get a secondary awakening, and given how weapons can become sentient after they are "eaten" by said weapons can't be a non believer.
2. Going off the assumption of Devil fruits having sentient's Nika could be the sworn enemy of Imu's fruit in which case Narona Imu is just a meat puppet.
3. Monkey D. Luffy is based of the the Hindu god Hanuman, whose the adversary Ravana who has 1000 head, and can shapshift into anything.
This is a good and crazy theory, hey Dak i thought of an interesting theory that maybe you could expand on in the future but what if by the end of one piece as a type of ultimate freedom Devil Fruit users are finally able to swim again. Also do you think we'll see Uta in the main series one day?

Judging by the image presented at 13:41 i would assume that imu is similar to doflamingo just one league above him. Doflamingo was "banished" out of the society of celestial dragons into peasant society, while imus has been banished from an actual higher plane of existence, not just a social one, in to the human world.
So it could actually be that imu is not really imu, since the original imu was just one among the 20 kings.
4:23 the trick to hurt gorosei is hit him with another gorosei. Also one piece always smelled to me of powerfull entity from other world that making deals that doesn't go as plan for the contractor. Maybe imu made such deal.

For ghe Gorosei its not “Awakened” anymore that just awakens the devil within the fruit to get some of their power. The gorosei have an “Asleep” form where the human form sleeps and the devil takes full control now.
