Definitely seems like the easiest way to do it. Thanks
Very cool, I'm gonna do some today👍
Awesome!!! It’s pretty cool using the process and the outcome. Have a great day and take care, Tony
I've missed the video that follows this one..is it under a different title..I'd like to see the finished results and how it's looking on ya's house!! Thanks again!!
Sorry for late response. There is a link in the description you can click on and it will take you right to it. We still love it and get all kinds of compliments when people come to the house. If we ever get board of it, it will be real easy to remove too. lol Take care and have an awesome day, Tony
Awesome video, simple and very effective. Now I understand that I need to apply more product for my project! Thanks !!
I saw the video of you doing your house. You should make little birdhouses out of this stuff and sell it on etsy. there is a big market for rustic birdhouses. Id buy one!
That is an Awesome Idea!!!! Thank you
That looks awesome, brother! Way cooler than using a sprayer.
Thank you and it’s definitely cooler than using a sprayer in my opinion too. Take care, Tony
If you want a very even finish (or as even as possible) use a spray bottle for both.
Beautiful, thank you !!!!
Thank you and have an awesome weekend, Tony
Helpful video...but I have the problem of how to remove the REALLY rusted tin from a steep roof...then possibly clean.....is there any ideas of how this method could work while the tin without removing it from the building? I can't imagine with it being a steep roof....it's gonna be hard enough just to get on it to remove the tin...with hopes of not falling through!! Thanks !!
Did the metal lose significant strength or only rust on its surface?
Just the surface and it still looks awesome to me. Take care - Tony
Beautiful 🥰
is the muriatic acid for speeding up the process? curious to know if the peroxide alone will rust the metal (just not as quickly)?
The main thing is to get the Galvanized Coating off first. Vinegar works but is slow. Raw metal will start rusting naturally but something in the peroxide speeds it up rapidly. But to answer your question no peroxide will not. If you’re not in a big hurry you can use multiple coats of Vinegar in place of acid but take forever. But is safer. Hope this answers your question. Take care...Tony
@@HowYouCanDoItToo I see; thank you!
Did you apply a sealer on it if any kind?
I was going to but I really like the raw form and I’m actually using mine on the exterior. I don’t want to clear seal the rust because of the maintenance part of the it flaking, turning milky, etc. from the exterior elements. The way it is now if a piece gets to a point I don’t like I just take it off slide another piece in and done. If I was using it in the interior I would seal it with a clear coat. I hope this answered your question in why you wanted to know. I love it on my exterior. Take care...Tony
Owsom,! Thanks for sharing your metod
Painters lay it on smooth!
Is muriatic acid = hydrochloric acid ?
same thing
If you mix the 2 chemicals together before application what will happen?
Don’t think it will work cause you need the acid to first break down the galvanized so the peroxide can make it rust. I think you will just waste your peroxide but really don’t know for sure. This is just the way I was taught and it works this way. But still a great question you made me go hmmmm. Lol Take care
Seems like mixing and acid and base would neutralize each other out.
I use that acid all the time....it's nasty - I can't believe you aren't wearing a respirator....
I know, I tried to make video with respiratory on but sounded like Darth Vader with a bad hemorrhoid. LOL believe me I do use a respirator cause it is like you say, nasty. Take care... Tony
The zinc oxide fumes from the galvanizing can cause death.
Hey , is muriatic acid = hydrochloric acid ?
spray bottles
DO NOT use this near anything that's metal that you care about! It will rust tools and remove paint from your vehicle!
The zinc oxide fumes from the galvanizing can cause death.
I used zinc oxide with fumes all around me while i was smoking a cig and drinking a cup of coffee (3 creamers) 2 years ago and im still here.
@@tobymofield6597 Are you still there mate?
Maybe not so good to do it by the tree.
Yes you are probably right, but the strangest thing happened it is 3 times bigger. Lol There were several things I should not of done, like no respirator. But couldn’t talk with one on. Lol But you are right the acid and peroxide can’t be good for it. Thank you and luckily it is ok. Take care and always enjoy legit feed back...Tony
I see why you have a grey beard .
😂 definitely! I can’t even wash the grey out 😂
Well I have been trying to find someone with the results. I have been looking for you solved riddle .thank you .
