- In this video I will show you how to unlock and build the tek hover skiff in ARK: Genesis. In this guide I will also show you how to use the hover skiff. I will show you how the tek hover skiff uses both element and unstable element as a fuel source. I wil lshow you how to use the tek hover skiff's tractor beam to pick up and move creatures in the game. I will also show you how the tek hover skiff can be used as a mobile turret platform for taming and combat. This thing is amazing and I cant wait to see what people come up with for this thing!

That’s quite the opinion. I’ve raised 4 kids and found the ending annoying if not cringy. My kids love em other people’s kids not so much lol.

You Can also make the hover skiff Land with the command wheel (Land flyers)
any idea how to keep it hovering in the air when not driving it? instead of landing on its own?

@@youtubecomments3226 If you have the auto-whistle glitch, it will auto land your skiff, OR if you have too many people/animals it will auto land. If you do have the auto whistle, and like many combatted this by turning down the volume, you need to do the actual fix and it will be gone immediately.
youtube comments you have to fluctuate the weight if there’s to much weight on you, your tribemate or the skiff it will land if the weight is balanced you and a tribemate can walk on it while spyglassing dinos and it will stay in the air, been testing it out bc I didn’t understand why I couldn’t get it to hover while I was on it till I realized the weight I’ve been trying to find the best way to use the skiff I found a way to use it without ele and it keeps flying even with out you on it I already told my other 2 tribemates to do it to their skiffs so we can save a ton of ele

I just don't understand how they at least can't make the Tek Buggy stand still when not operated. Also I think that the problem with the game is how they do their collision mechanics if they make Ark 2 one day they need to fix this when working on coding the game. The Tek Buggy reminds me of a worse version of the Halo CE Warthog where it can slightly be in motion and damage the shit out of stuff while only going 1 mph. Although if it drove like the Halo CE Warthog I would be really happy.

There used to be a decent dune buggy as a placeholder, capable of only being spawned with admin commands, but they replaced that with the hot mess that is the tek buggy

Anders Buch Jeppesen the problem I have is that there are hardly any servers for prim plus and I wish they added like 3 more servers of each map for pvp, I be on prim plus everyday if there wasn’t only 2 different servers for each map

The more I watch these guides the more I wish I had this stuff when I was playing ark.
This thing especially. trading, farming, taming, everything would've been so easier with this around.
Idk things like cryopods make it kinda obsolete though tbh but i remember the good old days of having a 5 raft fleet to transfer tames for a raid cause there was no such thing as uploading yet
I miss seeing bunch of rex sitting on a quetzal platform for delivery lol
One thing I would like to see added to this tutorial is perhaps a description on how to shift your tames while carrying them, because that has always confused me. I've learned how to pick them up, reel them in, drop them, and throw them, but I can't figure out how to move them left, right, and so on, without moving the entire skiff or reeling them in/out.
Fuel the skiff with element DUST instead of hard element. Dust is like gas in a generator, lasts forever.
You can also whistle Land Flyer and the skiff will autoland

I saw the prow loaded with cannons, then, I pictured four tiers of platforms creating a 5x5 'Wall of Cannons" (which I imagined being different sorts of turrets immediately thereafter.)

mitt gaming: you wont go far with this unless you are loaded with element! me: welp time to spam commands
or the easier way to tame a space whale is to shoot it once with a mek cannon. Might reduce effectiveness a bit but if you just want to get one, there you go

Ive recently bought ark, so i dont have genesis, but the hover skiff is still available for the main game.
I was looking through engrams in creative mode, and the skiff is there, along with that giant mek walker!!
Yeah but you won't be able to craft either in survival. Creative just gives you all engrams in the game.
@@rgio1885 yeah i realise it would take alot of grinding and time to get them the normal way.
So basically that wont happen as i have limited game time.
But i can mess about with everything in creative to my hearts content!!

If you pick something up with the skiff get some speed and go up at the same time when you release the creature it'll send it flying
My hover skiff automatically lands when I press triangle (to stop driving) I want it to be in the air still... is there a button I’m missing?

They need to fix that you dismount during teleports. You should be able to teleport and stay on your mount.
I'm playing on xbox I am trying to use the tractor beam but it does not pick any creature I try it on up what buttons is it to actually lock on with the tractor cannon
Thomas Murray left trigger to go into tractor beam mode, lock on to the dino until you got red reticle and hold left trigger to pull it up, right trigger to release.
@@Reptiile I have been able to turn the beam on but I can't get the reticle to lock on is their any button I have to press to get the reticle to lock
Almost had mine destroyed today, It has a solid 10k hp but for some reason it takes a ton of damage, 2 shadowmanes brought it below 2k hp in mere seconds, while they were attacking ME, not the skiff itself.
You can gfi element. The command is GFI element 1 0 0 and the first number is the amount
You could pick up quetzals as well which makes them so much easier to tame
This is great to know. Once on Ragnarok SP I downed a 170 something Tek Quetzal on my Griffin it was KOed on a safe spot in Spino Canyon as it fell on top of a cliff. I was paranoid and still put some spike walls around it. I had no kibble so I decided to fly to NE highlands to get some Mutton when I came back it glitched through the cliff to the bottom of the canyon and was being eaten by a raptor. It would be nice to pull it into a trap with foundations since I never had a dino if it was knocked out on foundations fall through the map. I guess the glitch happens sometimes because the way things render.

My replicator is against a wall in my base. If I build the skiff will it spawn outside the wall? Or will it jam and potentially break my base walls or break itself?

I have question on the tek skiff. If player pick is turned off will you still be able to pick up other players and their tames as well?
Is there a way to build a skiff as a blueprint instead of it being built. Example building a raft stays as a blueprint until you place it in water. Im thinking if i close off the replicator with walls all around.
