Hay Everyone! I won't lie, I scheduled this one wrong, am instead of pm, but that's ok. Either way, I hope you enjoyed this one, as the Mushroom Mage is quite an interesting character! Let me know your thoughts or what you're interested to see! Any feedback is always welcome! Enjoy!
Whether Callum will learn all arcanums, I doubt it. It could still well be, but I genuinely hope he won't. I think having him not too powerful makes it more interesting and ..."relatable"?
Well it is kind of convinient that Zubeia crashes nearby of the one guy that can heal her. The mushroom elf main role is to solve Zubeias corruption. My problem with him is that he is just another powerful npc that lives alone. Xadia seems to be populated with powerful npcs that live alone and don't interact with the world. In s4 onward we see rarely new major factions and societies. The earth archdragon is isolated from the world. The ocean archdragon comes rarely to the surface and didn't do much. We have an archmage Akiyu that lives century alone, because she saw the map. Kimdael seems to live alone at a graveyard and seems to not move very far away from it. Finnegrin was only active, because Ezran stole some baitlings. Also scumports are pirates, but who are they raiding? Sol regem was guarding the boarder in s3, but in s5 he is isolated and alone in a cave? In s6 we get to see the starscraper elves that live isolated and alone. Aside from the powers established in s1-3. We see no new factions. How do the earthblood elves and ocean ones live?
Absolutely! It feels way more like video game than an actual world. The human side at least somewhat felt alive but we also haven't been around there too much... I agree with you though!
Over time, the human population in Xadia will increase and there will be a cultural exchange. The elven societies will open to the world slowly and maybe some things of each culture would change. It's just my appreciation about how the things would in a distant future of the series.
Oh no definitely! I think it would be amazing to show more of that cultural and racial conflict and clash that comes with this huge shift! It's a tough topic to do ...right I guess? Or maybe they don't want it to come across too divisive? Idk, but it's sad that this really interesting and relevant storyline devolved into a classic fantasy power grab situation. I don't blame them though, it fits well enough and is much easier to navigate
Based on the episode title, it does sound like he'll help Janai in battle. I love theory videos so please keep making them. It would be interesting if you made one on Viren's predecessor too.
Thank you so much! I agree as well, I really hope he'll be an actual character in the season. I do really want to make one on Kpp'ar, buuut I don't have the Puzzle House book, so I'm working off of a bit less, but still I want to make it for sure!
Actually I think the Key of Aaravos opens that book that he has in each of the posters by plugging in one rune of an arcanum the book transforms into a volume containing the knowledge and secrets of that primal source and how to connect with them. one thing that the book's appearance has in common is a square opening on the back cover of the book that looks like the Key of Aaravos is made to fit in. It does make some sense that the key is made to open something containing knowledge after all "Knowledge is Power".
Oh, rune mage, that's new information thanks. I have always Wondered why sometimes the show runners forget to draw a symbol in a spell scene but the more important thing is, it will be a great journey waiting and watching s6 alongside your thoughts and discussions❤ keep it up and let's hope mukho saves the earth arcanum as season stars will save the show
I won't lie, I don't know how much the creators are aware of this... neither Runaan or Terry have either, but I didn't mention them since I don't know if they're supposed to me, buuuut I want the Mushroom Mage to be one!
@shivangparikh2933 eh no not really, I think he's going to be the more fleshed out version of the prince of Neolandia. Someone that becomes extreme and it consumes them into war until they ...die. I loved the way they were tackling the Elves vs Humans problem, but Karim ...was not a great direction. But that's just me
They were revealed on Twitter a month ago or so. There was like a game where they'd give us hints to the name, and then drop the official name when someone guessed it. I think they should be in the Wiki now as well
I love the idea of this character helping the squad and being the earth magic user, but i just hope it doesn't diverge from the main plot too much. Also, i know this is out of the blue and unrelated, but do you like s5 or s4 better?
Yea exactly, I hope it gives Soren and Corvus' storyline more relevance and interesting, but I hope they realise it still is a subplot if anything. Also, always glad to answer, this is something I was thinking about recently, because I was thinking about doing a ranking, and having rewatched S4 and 5 recently ...I forgot how bad S5 is. Like I feel like it's probably still more interesting than S4, but at least S4 had a really nice plot with the Sunfire Elves, that felt really ...human. I think I would place slightly above S4 though. You?
@TheGlowingHay EXACTLY!!! I feel like no one talks about how s5 made the sunfire elves less human and just... bad, in a lot of ways in my opinion. I also feel like s4 seemed somewhat redeemable, and don't get me wrong, s5 is, but s5 feels like it just showed that that is how the devs are writing the series from now on:/. So I think s4 was a tiny bit better... I hope s6 is good though.
@Paperpoet906 absolutely! For me it's still a toss up between the two. The more I think about it, the less I feel like I know how I'd rank the seasons. Idk, I might just wait for S6 to rank them, but it might be an interesting video. Absolutely agree with you though about the sunfire elves. I feel like we won't go back to the more ...human things though and just go even deeper in this power hungry, magical power grab
Oh no, Zubeia is sick with an incurable illnesses. Let's create another charecter late in the show to heal her. Dues Ex Mushroom Mage. Where was this guy 2 years ago when Lux Auria was literally in & since then a hell-scape?
Yea no you are right though... it feels weird that all of a sudden there are powerful healers in Xadia that would've been helpful in many other circumstances... my guess is that they'll try to explain it away with them being very recluse, and so, hard to find. Which is a weird trait as a magical ...Doctor
@isabelamelendezcarvajal4908 no need to apologise! Banter is like talking in a joking way between two people, and Soren used to have a lot of lines that were just banter between him and ...anyone. It's part of what I really liked about Soren, so I hope they bring that back in an effective way! I hope that helps!
@TheMrPeteChannel yea honestly it could well be... I genuinely hope not, but it seems every season we get one character like that, and this might be the one for S6
Btw a bit of feedback maybe a bit more effort in editing instead if just summarising the script at that point but if you want you can just keep ur editing style
Thank you! I'm curious what you'd like to see in the editing. I'm very ...not professional at it, and very self taught, but I'm also just not creative in that way so I'd love to hear what kind of editing you mean, because I'm down to see if I'm able to pull it off. I do think it could make it more interesting for sure!
I think like the subtitles that you put in, if you have any other ideas while Ur editing then you can put them at intervals in the video. But you don't have to.
@user-bk9qy7gp3v thanks! I'll definitely see if I have any more ideas when editing! As I said, I am not always the most creative, but when I have time while editing, I'll definitely try new things!
Thanks! Do you have anyone in mind that I could look at? I said in a previous reply that this isn't really my strong suit, but I'd love to see if this is something I could learn and implement!

Dues Ex Lion-Turtle all over again. The Sunfire Elves sure could of used Shroom Man 2 years ago.
@TheMrPeteChannel 😄yeaaa it does actually take away the importance of the Sun seed, since it seems like mushroom magic could've just saved Sol Regem
Hopefully Callum will learn these mushroom healing magic after he connects to the Earth Primal Magic.
Oooh that would be quite cool! I wonder if he will though, since he isn't really part of the group that most likely will find the Mushroom Mage
This character is soo mysterious! I really hope we see him in season 6! I wonder if Zubeia personally knows the mushroom mage.
I would be surprised, he seems very recluse, but maybe... I can't wait to see what they do with him!

Not sure how being a possible healer would necessarily equal an architect/exterminator…
The Mushroom Mage will play a important role in the season 6 and Soren and Corvus will protect him at any cost
